Did some slight weathering to Aeon v4 and added o rings. Very happy with result:

Looking good there.  The O rings are a nice touch to the saber making it stand out even more.

thank you everyone! Just dipping my toes into customization...trying to learn as much as I can by watching youtube, I plan on heavily weathering, shattering, and just about anything else I want to try my hand at on the plethora of aluminum flashlight bodies I have laying around.

Weathering is always a good way to go. Is that dry brushing you used? I'm a firm believer that a "stock" saber is just the same as someone else's. Don't get me wrong I have a few shelf queen's that I won't alter the finish of, especially my Monarch CE. Nice work, point given.

Nice job. i feel like the Aeon needs O-rings to give some contrast. I have them on mine and prefer them for grip as well.

thank you everyone! I just masked off and painted the recessed areas, dabbed a little paint thinner on a rag, and wiped some off. Masked off again and hit with a couple coats of clear.
