Introduction & HistoryHello members of the Jedi Council and Sith Order,
I would like to present to my fellow Jedi and Sith the best method for using 'Obsidian Launcher' on a Mac.
I'd like to first start with the history of my work with getting the software to work on Mac flawlessly.
Originally when I first started I tried to install it using a program called 'Cross Over' This program while showed promise proved to be quite difficult to understand and use, I quickly discarded it and tried something else.
Wine Skin, This is an open source program that allows people to develop ports for windows programs (Mostly games) and some have been quite successful (KOTOR II, Oblivion, Battlefield 2)
I eventually managed to get Obsidian to work on this and I was very, very excited as this took me a long time to do. While I could boot the program, I could only use it in offline mode as the USB couldn't be detected.
So then I tried something else and today, I bring you a message of unity with in The Force.
SKIP TO TUTORIALHow to get 'Obsidian Launcher' to work on the Mac operating system.
Things you WILL need:
A computer running Mac OSX Lion
A copy of Windows 7 (Legit or not doesn't matter)
A decent amount of RAM (4 - 8GIG) for this to run smoothly.

Install a boot camp partition on your Macbook Pro (I'm going to assume you all know how to do this if not.)
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht14612:
Download and install 'Parallels' - Free two week trial

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6692062/Parallels.Desktop.v7.0.14922.693916-ADDiCT3:
-Install the program, Installation is quite easy (as with installing anything on a Mac)
-After you have installed the program either enter your pirated key or start your free trial.
-You will be presented with a window titled 'Parallels Wizard' Select 'Migrate From Boot Camp' (Something like that I can't remember)
-Let the software do its thing, pretty soon you will have your boot camped Windows ready to go.
-Afterwards go into the General settings for your Windows 7 install and give it 2 CPU's and 2048 MB's of RAM for a decent experience.
-Next go to Options 'Startup and Shutdown select the following 'When Parallels Desktop Starts' 'Coherence' 'Close Window' 'Ask me what to do'
-Leave everything else, close the window.
-Start Windows 7 and the inbuilt tutorial will show you the rest.
Enjoy using Obsidian on your Mac, No more reboots! No more other computers!

Though some people don't I do support piracy, it allows you to test out a product 100% before you buy it. I do hardcore video editing so I pirated the Final Cut Suite. I used it a lot and decided it was well worth how much they were asking.
If you like this software buy it!I also plan on using this method to Run 'The Old Republic' I'll be installing it tomorrow (Found someone in my home town that has actually downloaded it) I'll let you know how well (or poorly) it runs!
Thanks for the heads up. Master Artorius will be very pleased

I felt like I was being commemorated by the Jedi Council itself, thanks!

..... wow ..... No emulators or partitioning? that's amazing! Please do share.
Not quite, you still need to create a virtual machine (I've tried everything else!), the only way around this is to re-write obsidian for Mac, which is something I'd need Ultra to help me do.
