I entered the second Summer Raffle with a Gold Butcher purchase in Guardian Blue, with Violet FOC, and Quick disconnect LED. It brought me a 4th place win, and I look forward to seeing it in person, whenever they arrive. I hope it's not too big, as I'm of average height. But regardless of its size and weight, I look forward to many hours of play (which will no doubt include dropping it on my toes.) with it.

The butcher's such an awesome Sabre. I'm thinking about getting one that's blue with a guardian blue blade, quick disconnects. Actually I'd love to have the butcher with Emerald sound board, but I just don't know if I can swing that.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on both of these today at the US booth. I'm happy to report the Butcher is in fact comfortable to hold, US really nailed the design in my opinion. The only caveat to that is that it is comfortable to hold as a one handed saber, although it is good sized and has some weight to it, not really conducive to hold with two hands as the curve where you naturally hold it only really has room for one hand. So be prepared to use the force with this one. I can't wait for mine to arrive in October.
The Savior of course feels good as both a one hand and two handed saber because there is plenty of comfortable real estate on this one, the surprise is that it is much lighter than I expected. Although I didn't try to spin their only display model, just from handling I expect it to be an excellent spinner and dueler because of how comfortable and light it is. Now I am wishing I took some pics with them but it was great to get to hold them both.

I've been wondering about the Butcher and the Savior since Ultrasaber announced them and will go with the Savior first when I do place my order since the Butcher didn't appear as if it would be comfortable in the long run and now that you've experienced it and made your report, I'm glad that I've decided with the Savior first. I'll still own the Butcher but it'll wait. Thanks for the update and have a point.

I guessed that much and therfore I was surprised when SFD posted this in-game-pic here. It seems the designer pictures Revan with really large hands when he's able to grab it up there  Well, the Butcher should be a big saber. Just look at the game model:  That's not small by any means. |
