Great video Therion, I'm going to have to ask you some followup questions on PM since I know you have an extra viewpoint on this design that some us don't. **** NEWS FLASH, turns out customer service is advising my Butcher's recharge port is wired so my disappointment has now turned to joy! And they are taking care of my other issues wonderfully. Gotta love Ultrasabers!  |

Therion, nice quick look at those sabers. I'm really liking the Butcher. Gotta say, I haven't considered the Bane. I think I might have to change my mind. Looking forward to more detailed reviews of both. Edon, glad to hear US is taking care of business.

A note about the recharge ports: I've received a reply from Marlena about a small issue I'm having with my Butcher, and in it, I asked about the recharge ports. They are all completely functional and considered a courtesy upgrade. The only downside is that now I need to purchase a recharging cable |

Some great pics, folks Newest additions arrived today. Black anodized Butcher in VA with AS FoC and Obs V4 sound, as well as my 2nd prize from the latest summer raffle: A Bane in GB with Obs V3 sound   Quick look video: ! No longer availableWow. That puts things into perspective. The Bane is reportedly "huge". Did they say that the plug was LE for pre-orders only, or is it reserved specifically for Butcher orders? |

Yeah, that's not a half-bad idea. I was going to hold on to my points to see if any of the v5 pommels would be sold as standalones, but now that I have a recharge port, priorities might change. |

it was a pretty plug. but if you really want one, some of the other guys (blech) sell some nice ones. and I'm pretty sure US will be expanding their selection of plugs due to the popularity of these ones. |
