Which Lightsaber hilt weighs the least and is the thinnest that can fit normal sized blades? I'm thinking on getting a menace. I currently have one Archon 3.1 TRI-green with 32" heavy ultra bright blade. Thanks for your suggestions.

If you're okay with a stunt saber, the answer is an Initiate V2.  If you want something that works better with two hands, the answer is an Aeon or Dominix V2.  Their thinness is the reason sound boards won't fit inside.  It also makes them really awesome to handle.

If you want sound and lightness, I'd broadly suggest avoiding the canon inspired hilts as they tend to be heavier in general than the original designs though the Menace isn't half bad in that respect.

I highly recommend a Prophecy.  Super comfortable, and very nice to wield.

The Sentinel is nice as far as easy to hold as well.

That can fit Obsidian sound, any of the V3s, V4s or V5s are thin. Initiates, Apprentices, Aeons, Dominixes, Sentinels, Standard Issues, Liberators, Prophecies. They all have a 1.45" maximum outer diameter, slightly thinner than the Archon. The Sentinel V4, Apprentice V4, Prophecy, Initiate V3 and Aeon/Dominix V3 all have really nice choke points that are even thinner and aid in comfort. The Initiate V4 and Aeon/Dominix V4 also have lower choke points and a concave emitter that acts as a nice choke point.

As Rapine said, you really can't go wrong with a Prophecy V3 or a Sentinel or Apprentice V4. Those choke points are fantastic.

Because I actually have experience with one, I tend to recommend the Apprentice for just about everything. However, the Aeon/Dominix and Initiate lines are also great. Liberators are pretty light as well. I (unfortunately) do not have any experience with the Prophecy hilts, but from everything I've heard, they are also amazing.

Initiate v3s, Apprentice v4s, Prophecies and Liberators are all light and can take any of the sound cards - they're also all comfortable and light to wield, in my experience.

The Initiate v4s and Apprentice + Initiate v5s should also all fit the bill, but I've not handled any of them so can't personally confirm that.

I may choose the Sentinel LE v5. Add a Dorinian pommel to that. with basic sound and a TRI Red heavy white blade.

The Dorinian pommel is quite heavy because it's so complicated, so you'll be working against the goal for which you started this thread.  Just FYI.  Also, if you care about utility I'd highly recommend the Sentinel V4 over the V5 since the V4 choke is actually useable.  Those are my two cents, your mileage may vary.

Money on my mind.
I just bought try TRI RED Heavy Brite Gold LE Sentinals and a coupler. Counting 32" blades and basic sound on one TRI RED saber. Got a red silver switch on the one with sound and black on the soundless one. V5 on all I get a free initiate. It's still an exciting time. xXx

Will post pictures if I can next week or later this month.

I was actually gonna recommend the Overlord, nothing getting in the way at all even with the covertech wheel, nice spacious feeling saber and the upper grooves are super comfy too
