Yeah, it's definitely got some Electrum Wind pieces-parts, but that sure ain't all it's got.  I'm still working out pieces of that.  I'll post a closer shot of that one alone a little later, because I think know I'll need some assistance on that one.

And... windowed emitters.  I just LOVE windowed emitters!

Several of these are destined to be gifts, so I presented these images while the collection stands at this size.  Some are going to depart later this week, and others will hang out with me a little longer.  I will have to consult the Magic 8-Ball to see if the two Initiate v2 sabers will be staying with me.  If so, that's actually something for me to consider, so thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks!  Don't get used to seeing that black one; it's already re-boxed and heading for its new home half-way across the country, along with the Dominix V4 (stunt) and the Aeon V3 (stunt). 

And since the Fallen and Azure Fallen are Diamonds, I have now seen SRD in person, and it's a GORGEOUS blade color!  No wonder folks talk it up so much. 

People say on videos all the time that the camera (still or video) doesn't capture the color properly, and that is so true. And although finding a reflective surface helps a LOT, it still doesn't do the colors true justice.  (For instance, Guardian Blue looks washed-out on the camera alone, and it looks way too intense pointing the camera at the reflection on my glass patio table... like burn-your-retinas-out intense.  And there are differences for each of the colors I've seen.  The camera really has trouble capturing the true shades of colors with a component of blue, I've noticed.)

Here are some pics of my Frankensaber hilt. 













I can definitely identify some parts (like the rounded handgrips and part of the emitter) as looking like they come from the Electrum Wind, and I have to say that the neck beneath the gold part of the emitter (with the milled-out chevron-shaped parts) looks like it came from the Mantis, but what about the silver shroud that comes up around the gold part of the emitter?

That gold neck in the middle (between the emitter proper and the chevron-shaped milling) also looks like it came from the Electrum Wind, but from right next to the handgrips on the stock EW, rather than above the activation switch like it is here, so there's some rearrangement magic happening here.  And then below the handgrips, unlike the stock Electrum Wind, it goes almost immediately to the pommel, so there's some more customization.

And speaking of that, what about the pommel?  The design looks like the Emperor's Hand pommel, but the color looks like it might be that custom bronze they mentioned, because it's not a match for the gold on the rest of the hilt even though it's awfully pretty (and I wouldn't mind seeing that as another color option, honestly).

Pics will come later, but here are some stats on the Azure Fallen that I haven't seen on the US site.

Full length with 36" blade:  47-3/8"    (~120.3cm)
Full hilt length to tip of shrouds:  16-1/4"    (~41.3cm)
Hilt length to "bottom" of blade (in between the shrouds, where the hilt would end if the shrouds were removed):  14-3/4"    (~37.5cm)

Weight with Diamond card, recharge port, batteries, and 36" UEHG blade:  ~31.75 oz   (~900g)

The weight is as close as I could get it, trying to balance the saber on my kitchen scale.  The linear measurements were taken using a standard tape measure purchased at a hardware store.

Well, you DO have to remember that I still have the Azure Fallen, with a Diamond board, so it's not like I'm suffering TOO much!

Diamond is smexy... fallen I do admit is very smexy just to have... azure I can look past.... I’m actually debating a grand master azure... but I’m sitting on debates of wait atm... it’s sooo hard to just pick one... or wait and grab all!!! Ahhhhhhhh >.>!!!!!
