What you did not mention: How does the FoC feature come across? Does it look great? Does it improve the "screen accuracy" of the overall look of the saber when turned on? Of course, it's an effect that improves a saber. But what I'm wondering is: HOW good does it look? Let's say on a scale from 1-10.
I'm still undecided whether or not to buy a saber with obsidian and FoC. Somehow I need my blade to flicker. A good FoC feature would help...
On a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 8 only because the blade doesn't shimmer while idle. For screen accuracy I would use Silver because there always seems to be a white flash in the movies or subtle changes like Pyrestone to Fire Orange. Overall it's not a feature that you must have for an awesome saber but if it doesn't cause you to go over budget it will definitely make your saber that much more awesome.
Crap I posted on the wrong thread.
Regardless, compare it to one of your other hilts.
(I own most of them lol.)
I want to get it for MJ but I fear she only wants it because It's shiny and Obi-Wan's.

Ok so I got technical and busted out a scale not entirely sure how accurate it is tho.
Guardian (no blade) 1lb 10oz
Bellicose (no blade) 1lb 2oz
Aeon (no blade) 13oz
Aeon (34" heavy grade) 1lb 7oz
So I guess the closest in weight is going to be an Aeon or Bellicose with a heavy blade or a phantasm staff.
