Me and my Jedi costume. Got more proper boot inserts tonight and they work out much better than before. I'll be using this again next year for Comic Con.   |

Reminds me of the scientist from the opening to Robot Chicken.
That was part of the root of the idea, but I could not even come close to getting my hair to do what Fritz Huhnmorder's (the mad scientist from Robot Chicken) does. |

Ah, So I was partially right. Nice costume, Zren. Can you tell me where you got it/what pattern you used to make it? I'll be making my Sith cosplay soon and need a pattern. |

That's actually better. I plan to be a Jedi as well as a Sith, but I don't need a specific character. Though my Jedi will be post Order 66, so it'll be more TFU style.

Unfortunately, my Jedi costume is kind of low on my cosplay priorities list right now. Got a ton of other projects first, but my ROTJ Luke/Sith Lord/improved Darth Yoshi is probably 3rd or 4th after finishing the costumes I've already started. I'm gonna be getting some more sabers next week since they're running a deal, so I'll try to get some pics of those as well.

I think I bought the same outfit from Amazon as Zren.. it is decent quality, not the best, but better than I was expecting, to be honest.. I ended up ditching the outer (cream/white) tunic and just went with the brown robe, inner tunic (brown), brown pants and a black t-shirt underneath for more of a Dark Jedi look.. with the cloak, it was still a bit too warm to wear around the office all day.. and we keep our AC cranked pretty low. I was carrying both my Chosen One and my Graflex (which is under the robe in the pic) I got into a few saber duels with co-workers and then some of their kids who showed up for the office party at the end of the day.  |
