Dark Side has always offered the easy option of looking cool. Black and red looks great and very slimming!
My single favourite Star Wars character is Darth Maul. He had little dialogue so George Lucas couldn't screw him up. And Ray Parks did an awesome job at playing him - just looking at the way he moves you can tell he is a Martial Artist. And he had exceedingly cool Saber - I STILL love that moment he ignites both blades.
And when playing KOTOR, definitely had the most fun with Darksider.
But in real life I lile to hope
that I would act more selflessly like Jedi. So for my first Cosplay I am trying for Jedi look.

I hear you there! The Sith are cool and all, but at heart, I strive to be more like Jedi as well! I am also pulling together a jedi character for myself, not just to look cool and have fun, but also to remind me of who I strive to be to the world. But maybe I'm just weird  |

It's just a black driving glove. I do want Anakin's actual glove, though . . . but I want real leather. None of that pleather garbage. I have to do my favorite Jedi/Sith justice. Hell, I already cut off all my hair for him. |
