Well I do plan on being there for your event in Sept. barring any financial setbacks.  I had to ice at least one Jedi at Popcon.  Nice pic! And your robes look like it fits really nicely too. |

Cosplay is not about your physical limitations. It is about embodying the character's style. What I find most fascinating is people's ingenuity in creative ways to build a cosplay. For example:    Not perfect by any stretch, but a good solid effort. And that is really what people want to see. I actually thought of cross-playing as Mara Jade. Nice pic! And your robes look like it fits really nicely too.

I completely agree; IMO it is MUCH more important to have an enjoyable time than to bicker about the minutia of a costume. I've always felt that the spirit was more important than the letter to any so-called "rules." |

well, both the Mi and Oh garrisons know who we are by name. (kinda happens when you outnumber them at a big con) we also got into the parade they can't seem to get approved for. plus now making it as guests at mid sized cons. but I think one of our fans said it best "they are the by the book, shelf display, star wars guys. you guys are the fun, interactive, play the crowd group." |
