What'd you do to the all red saber?  Aluminum tape or anodized special from a few years ago? I actually used multiple coats of spray red enamel and matte clear coat while the red was still wet, then use 3-4 clear coats once it's dry. I find it helps it dry faster and harden better. Been on there for over a year and is one of my most handled sabers. Hasn't chipped or came off yet.  |

Planning a Dark Jedi/Sith/Inquisitor cosplay for upcoming conventions.
I too am planning a Dark Jedi cosplay. I have the shirt I will be using as (for lack of a better comparison) a tunic. I have the rest planned out, just need to actually purchase. Definitely not sticking to the standard/"official" Jedi outfit. Going "custom" with mine but with mostly products I can get from Amazon. I think it will work well, but we'll see. The only thing I can't really get from there is the obi. All regular obis tie at some point, which places a knot right where you want the belt to go. Think I'll need to get a plain, flat, Velcro closing obi made. |
