Honestly it’s worth emailing them for the upgrade to at least add sound. If you think about it that’s the best deal on a saber with sound when you essentially eliminated the cost of the hilt by winning it. I did that before with a raffle win and highly recommended it. Also, I can’t wait to see this thread flooded with pics of what we all won. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of frankensabers come out this time too. One of my raffle prizes was a mash up saber and it’s one of my favorite. Wound up with a consular hilt with a clawed emitter on it.

I probably have a pic buried in the forums somewhere. I’ll see if I can find it. It’s was also a 2 channel emerald saber, amber and green, so I can make orange, green and yellow of various shades. It’s pretty sweet. I made it look like a pulsing sickly lime color for a while. The one I added sound to was a dark liberator in consular green.

You can see some pics of it on pages 8-10. Plus most of my other sabers. When I got this one they hadn’t yet introduced the mantis so when I posted pics no one knew what it was. We all knew it was from an upcoming hilt. They released the mantis shortly after though. Go take a look though. Tell me what you think.

Yeah Ana really crushed out some emails today. Everyone should send some virtual good feels/hugs to Ana! This is nice to see. She gave me the options to upgrade my stuff too and i went with it. +25 for a Illuminated Switch on my original order and added Illuminated switch and Diamond to my 2nd place prize for $200 more.

That’s super cool!!! And unique. I’m so curious what the random hilt is going to be on my third place prize. I’m definitely going to add v4 soundboard, AV switch and FOC to upgrade it. Can’t wait. It’s basically a mystery box with guaranteed which have all these nice upgrades!

She's an absolute rockstar! We shot about 5-6 messages back and forth to confirm all of the upgrade requests. She replied back within minutes of each one. Seriously impressive considering how many of these she's probably sent out! She even fixed my bonehead error when I completed the requisition charge transaction.

Side note: Don't use Apple Pay or Amazon Pay when ordering. It won't let you type any information in to the comments field of the order lol. US would have just seen a requisition transaction completed with absolutely no clue what was purchased had she not fixed it for me! Ana also took care of a request I sent over to Marlena earlier in the week regarding purchasing extra knurled screws, and questions I had about an extra pommel I ordered.

One thing I would add for what it's worth: My first place raffle prize is a Random Hilt 2-Channel Emerald Saber with Sound, however her email stated that it was a $25 optional charge to guarantee V4 sound. I paid it without questioning and without hesitation because frankly even if the extra $15 was a mistake, I'm still walking away with a $450+ saber for the mere cost of an AV Switch, Recharge Port with battery, and Sound upgrade

Can’t say yet. I replied to her original email with what I’d like for my emerald saber and asked a few questions but haven’t got a response just yet so I’m sure. There really isn’t anything for me to upgrade on mine. Other than diamond controller which is more than I’d ever use I pretty much got the top of the line model. To me diamond is more for folks who cosplay or use their sabers for more than just fun and playing with the kids lol. When she gets back to me I’ll let ya know though. But those prices she gave you seem right.

Thanks. I was stoked when it showed up. Like it was way more than I was expecting. These guys rock. They make a fantastic product and have excellent customer service. Plus how many companies out there do multiple raffles like this per year with this many high dollar prizes? Not too many. On top of that even the mystery prizes are typically decent and high value. They don’t cheap out and give out a bunch of their cheapest product.

I'll try not to feel too bad for you Mr. Diamond Prize winner Kidding! I can't say for certain what order they address the emails, but they are 100% reaching out to all the winners, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get back to you by tomorrow, or perhaps even later today depending on what time their employees work until.

Oh agreed. I ha ent heard back yet either but it’s not surprising. They’ve got at least an email from each winner plus whatever other ones they had coming in on a regular basis. Now if a week goes by with no response... then I’d say reach out again. But I doubt it will be more than another day or so.
