Just like the title says, I was an idiot and stripped the retention screw in my saber. (I tightened it down too far because I was concerned about the blade wiggles I was feeling, and it got stuck in the polycarbonate.) Has anyone experienced this before, or know how to deal with it? It's pretty far in there, and it's a futile effort to go at it with the allen wrench any further.

The only thing to do at this point is to drive the screw down even FARTHER, so deep into the blade that you can remove the blade with the screw inside it, and then hopefully remove the screw from the blade.
The screw most likely isn't stripped, it probably just went past the threads of the hilt.

It's certainly stripped, that screw aint moving. The allen wrench slips inside it and can't grip onto the hex slot anymore. Unless they have an EZ-Out for allen-wrench screws, I think I'm just stuck with this blade color and length  Tongue
I got the Adegan Silver color, and it had an orange color disk and 36" UEHG blade inserted at the time. Looks like that's how this one's staying.

Try using a rubber band between the allen wrench and the screw. It sounds odd, but we used to do that all the time with stripped screws at my old job.

OH!!!  The INSIDE of the screw is stripped, NOT the threads?

Drill it.

7/64ths bit will remove the screw (or catch it and drive it down) and PROBABLY ( Shocked) still leave enough of the threads to put in another screw without retapping the hole.
