Recharge port not working

Hello, I just bought an Archon V3 with a recharge port and it’s not working. When I hooked the wall charger to the port, the light stayed green, but I know the batteries are dead. I switched out the batteries from a charged saber and it powered up, so I know the batteries are not the issue. What can I do to fix that port? I’m a little worried about having to tinker with it, but I want that port to work.
