Saber light staticky after saber fight

Hi there,

It's my first time posting and I am sorry if this post has already been done before.

I was saber battling at home when my light started to become staticky. Like when you have contact to contact saber feature, but without it on.
I am not sure if, its a lose wire of what is going on. I am not sure what to do. I don't want to take it apart as I have not had it for that long.
Does anyone have an idea?
It is a Dark Initiate LE v5, Diamond Controller, Li-Ion Setup, UltraEdge Heavy Grade.
Mine is supposed to be battle compatible, I hope I didn't stuff it up.

It sounds like you need to recharge your batteries. 
When the batteries get low the led will start flickering and then soon after go out altogether.  The sound will continue playing for a little while after that. First time it happened to me I thought I broke my saber too!  Try recharging the batteries and see if that helps.

Last time it went flat it flashed blue, so I was a bit shocked.
