Not really a review, just wanted to get some photos up of my new love just arrived this afternoon. Archon V2 WarGlaive emitter with Black Claws Pyrestone Orange (tweaked* - more on that after the pics) Silver flash Red AV switch I present to you the Hssiss Fang! I flicked the saber and my silver clash turned the most horrid color of PINK! I know it's an illusion from the mix of LED Red and Silver but I couldn't get past my Sith saber doing a Hello Kitty impression. I quickly snatched my Lee filters book and started sorting through options. This current incarnation is actually Spring yellow which does a nice job of vanquishing that awful pink, leaving a gold clash. I'll look at putting up a vid of clash, before and after filter. |

It's very Shiny and that PO just radiates from the hilt.

Very nice! I saw a pic of this setup in the pommel/emitter thread and it looks sick! That Archon V2 body is very versatile!
Question, when you ordered it did you order it with the war glaive emitter or did you already have it? And if you ordered it that way, what did you have to tell them, did it cost you anything extra, and did you still get the Archon emitter with it or did they just send it like it is in the pic?
I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting an Archon V2 but I want a different emitter on it also. Thanks, and those pics look great!

This is a tweaked pyrestone orange in that it has a Spring Yellow Lee filter on it. I loved the original color which to me is a tad more red then what I have now. The difference with the filter really shows with the clash. Gone is the pinkish color, it's now amber with the clash. I should have realized PO would cause the pinkish hue/illusion with the clash but some reason was thinking it be light orangish or something.
Arakan - I ordered the War Glaive emitter specifically for this setup. I saw Kannik's too and knew this is what I wanted for my signature saber. I did request they ship with the glaive emitter attached but they were unable to accommodate that request. Not that it matters, it's the first thing I did after removing the battery to charge it. I wanted the first power up to have this look. It was always my intent to have the Archon emitter for use with a more Jedi color.

I love all the War Glaive's and I can understand why you aren't a fan, but I also see why you like this. Though you're not a fan the symmetry of the colors on the hilt are complimented even more by the PO blade. |

The glavies claws to me are too chunky, i would design them a bit diff, have a few wing idea's in the works

WoW that's a sweet looking set up, I didn't get to see the ones in the other post. I too have the pink FoC....Still working the filters to change that but not messing with the DVA. kinda hard to do. And Man oh man I wish them claws came Gold anodized.....
