I don't know about you, but I love the members with the Euro accents on the forums. I think it's really cool. Me personally, I'm filipino, but my accent is like 0.000000001% because I only slip up on certain words sometimes. What accents do you guys dig?

I do a pretty good job of concealing my Deep Southern U.S. accent but when I get angry, it pretty much comes out strong.  So, I believe the next Sith Character Uncle George creates, needs to say "Y'all Jedi better watch out!"

i used to do a bunch of improv and always played the foreign guy because i used to be very good at mimicing various accents

actually, one time one of my mates and i were in an Adidas outlet buying new football boots for the outdoor season (hehe picked up a 300$ set of predators for 89$ that day)

the girl at the cash as we were finishing up the transaction asked me when i came over, we looked at her a little dumbfounded and asked what she meant

turns out she was from northern ireland, and i guess with the way we were talking about the premier league, the way we pronounced certain players and team names, a hint of a Uk accent crept in

she just assumed we had been in canada for a number of years and had lost most of the accent



its not the first time its happened, but it was one of the more memorable ones

I can do a fair number of different accented English...  comes from watching a lot of TV.

So, back in high school, the easiest one to do at the time was Scottish, and I did it one time backstage during a theater performance, only to have another student look at me and ask where in Scotland I was from.  Considering I was born in Kentucky, I found that hilarious.

I love the scottish accent, and can kinda do that, but according to my family, all my accents are Scottish, but i say stereotypical things.

  Funny, I had a customer from Tennessee ask me if he could speak with another sales rep today because he thinks the guy his wife is cheating on him with is from New York.  I asked how that meant I couldn't help him and got told that it was obvious from my accent I was from there to and just listening to me speak was making him madder.  "No Offense" he added. 
  I told him, "Well if the guy your wife is with sounds like me don't bother buying a hidden camera from me just start the divorce proceedings.  Us Cajuns feel the women of Yankees like you are fair game and once she has been with a real man nothing you could do would ever satisfy her, NO OFFENSE!" 
   I got to listen to him stammer for a good 3 minutes before I hung up on him.  When he called back back I pretended to be British, told him "there, there" and sold him a $1000 in spy gear.  Even said "Cheerio!" when I hung up.
