I will forever use these videos in my mind as "this is what i look like swinging my saber around" when i really know i just look like the lightsaber kid.

Thanks for the advice Deep, not a fan of heavy grade blades but I'll definitely start taping the tips down.  (Edit:  Well I am a fan, I just consider them training blades to strengthen my sword arm up a bit)

@Nero - I guess I want to label myself as Ataru because it is definitely my favorite form, but I don't feel like I have open enough footwork.  It's something I'm working on, I think I've got the attack speed and relentless offense down (still tons of room to approve of course) but I tend to move too linearly and have a hard time reorienting myself after leaping / spinning.  I suppose that's one of those things that comes with practice.

Also, Zivilin - the best advice I can give for moves that show up well on camera is relax your grip, let go of your inhibitions and just let your body flow.  Let your wrist do a lot of work but don't let the other parts of your body fight the movement of your blade, otherwise it looks spasmodic.  Just practice a simple single saber figure eight in front of you until you barely notice you're doing it and work from there.  Not an expert or anything, it's just what works for me.
