At long last my first saber arrived today. The UPS man pulled up, got out of the truck, and says "Looks like somebody got a new golf club". Oh how wrong he was. I didn't bother to correct him. I was looking at the box to make sure it was intact. And it was!



So after I raced back upstairs to my room I carefully weighed it in my hands to decide which end the hilt was on. ( I wanted that to come out last Smiley )  After some deft tape slicing this is what I saw inside



I pulled the blade out and was very excited to see this little beauty wrapped up in bubble wrap Cheesy





It is my very own blue anodized Standard Issue V2. This hilt is beautiful. I looked but I don't see those "cosmetic imperfections" that make it a grab bag saber Wink



Now to flip on the blade....



Its a blue anodized SI with a Guardian Blue blade. So amazing.

I really couldn't be happier with this saber. It is a beautiful blade with a beautiful hilt. I went grab bag because I really couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted. At this price I got an amazing saber that helps me to appreciate the high quality product that Ultrasabers is putting out. I was a little worried about going full out on a saber and then not liking it but after this I don't think I have anything to worry about.

I also now understand the issue with getting color on camera. This is rough!







Now to start planning for number 2....

Nice pics mate, grads on getting the first piece of your addicting and ever growing collection!! And its not just number 2 to start thinking about , but 3, 4, 5, 6...you get the idea.

My UPS driver thought I was ordering golf clubs too.  He said "getting a new golf club?" and not wanting to get drug into conversation (I wanted to start unboxing, not chat with the delivery guy) I replied "Something like that...".

When he asked me what club I got he looked very disappointed when I admitted it wasn't a golf club, but was really a toy lightsaber.

Here's how that conversation would have gone on my end:

By the way, I know NOTHING of golf clubs! I just Googled it to get two names. LOL.

Nice saber. I got me a blue Grab Bag Liberator and also couldn't be more happier with it. I had plans on getting one awhile back anyway when they were still around and ended up with one in a Grab Bag, also got the red finished Liberator, both Guardian Blue Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade.

I had to chuckle when I read your message.  My first US saber arrived on Friday... and my UPS delivery gal said the same thing.  "OoOoOo... looks like someone got a new golf club!"   I just smiled and said "not exactly".  Wink
