Prophecy v3

Hey y'all! Just got my hands on my 3rd saber, a Prophecy v3, and I must say, it far surpassed all of my expectations. Let's get onto it!





The hilt is very light, and quite small compared to my other 2 sabers(Raven and "Dark Warlord"), which makes it a great one-handed saber for those who pretend to dual wield. I was quite displeased of how the decorative screws looked like before ordering, but now that I see them in person I take that back, they do look very nice in the saber.





Now, the first thing that really got my attention was the AV switch. Boy, am I glad I ordered this baby! It looks absolutely amazing and is sure to grab the attention of anyone who sees the saber. The Guardian Blue fits in just perfect with it, I didn't even have to think twice when ordering.
I also ordered an Adegan Silver FoC, and I was quite surprised when I fired it up. It is noticeably stronger than the Fire Orange one in my Overlord, making it all the more amazing to watch.
Sound is nice and clear, as expected from the Obsidian. The big open pommel makes it louder than ever, gotta be careful with this thing at night xD



Well, summing it up, this is an AMAZING hilt. It's light, it's sturdy, and most of all, it's beautiful. I wasn't really expecting much from it, but now it might even become my favourite saber!

For a plain hilt, I am very impressed with it from your pictures. The AV switch looks simply amazing and helps bring life to an otherwise plain design. I wanted to stay away from these hilts just for that reason alone, but I am now tempted to get one.

I would love to see a LE version of the silver hilt etched in gold or black, similar to the Shock LE. I love the emitter on this hilt as well.

Would give you a point, but I don't know which way you want to go.

God thats gorgeous, almost makes me regret ordering my dark prophecy as a stunt....almost

maybe ill get a prophecy someday with sound, and get it in arctic blue ^_^

Completely agreed! I also felt a little turned off at the plain design, but it was the closest to what I had in mind for my jedi saber. I see I was wrong now, this thing is amazing, and would indeed look even better in a LE version. I'm more of a neutral kind of guy, but I sway a lil' bit more towards the dark side

Well, do go for it! I assure you, you won't regret it! Sound for me is pretty much the essence of a saber, and the obsidian plus the switch just makes it all the better.

I do a LOT of dueling and sparring and stuntwork with my group. I like to have something with longer battery life, and no sound to distract me while im going at it.

I have a graflex with obsidian and love it, dont get me wrong. But sometimes a stunt is nice.

Very nice saber.  I agree with you about the AV switch too, it adds a whole lot to the look of the hilt (especially when it's on!).  I recommend that everyone go for it if you're looking to get a saber with sound.
