both ultra sabers, rifter and dominix heavy grade blades. we hit them pretty hard. maybe its time for new blades

O.o those were heavy grades? Wow, yeah that was a lot of flex for a heavy grade.
Lol i tested mine against a tree full on, and it didnt flex that much.

The flex on the blades seemed the same for when we use them. For direct edge to edge contact like that, steel would probably flex more.

Are those blades colored? I noticed that they did seem to glow from time to time, but the color made me wonder if they'd been rotoscoped.

steel does bend quite alot, we practice mainly with the long sword but use various medieval weapons in my group. lightsabers are just a sideline
my blade is blue the other is red, no rotoscoping they just dont show up too well in bright sunshine

we toned the ending down a bit, when we have performed it before Nick (red sabre) drops to his knees after being stabbed, i walk around a little looking mean then cross my sabres across his neck and cut (anakin V dooku style)when we did that we were in a cinema so the lights were out for that bit and you only saw the blades slice. so no head rolling around on the floor
