My sad Addiction

So I'd thought we'd post our other wallet burning addictions here, besides lightsabers.

Mine is Transformers. I LOVE THEM. I can't stop buying them. I love it when the transformation is complex, and the alt mode makes you question if it is even a Transformer at all. I have in all over $700 worth in store bought merchandise. I plan on hopefully getting a Third Party set that retails over 600 bucks, and forms Devastator.

So, go ahead and post your addictions.

I have no idea how many thousands of dollars I have spent on Warhammer models. Besides that I have lately been buying Gundam models to put together (although I have yet to finish a single one!).

Composting and Landscaping.  I love making things grow and really enjoy doing some cool recycling.   I currently am clearing a wooded lot so that it can be a festive place for people to come and relax.  Dug a 4 foot deep firepit for some really great bon fires as well.

Yeah, I've dropped a few coin on these as well. The silly part is I don't even play the game. My friends and I sometimes make our own boardgames and I use Warhammer & WH40K minis for our stuff.

With you on Transformers! I have been obsessed with them since they came out when I was a kid. I still have my original Optimus and Ironhide, but they are missing pieces and all kinds of things. Even though the movies sucked, they came out with some great toys for them.

Also trains, misc vintage items, Animation Cels, and assorted junk.

It may not be super expensive but I've dropped a lot of money into all kinds of antique pipes, tobacco and others. As well as antique fobs and pocket watches.

My most favorite is a real opium pipe that was found in a garage somewhere in Ohio by my dad; it's made out of some kind of bone with Kama Sutra carvings on it.

Although that was put on hold including sabers until I make back the money I spent.

Before that it was LEGOS but good lord are they expensive now.

i still have jazz, optimus, rodimus, and megatron's right arm from the elbow down (thanks to my brothers) plus most of the gen 2 devastator and a few others

i also still have perceptor but hes missing the parts that make him work as a microscope

Yeah, it's crazy how expensive those Fobs and Watches get. We sold a WWII Rolex Pocket watch for a pile awhile back at work. Had some really old sealed tobacco stuff too, different bags and tins of different brands from the 30's and 40's I think. Expensive stuff, that tobacco memorabilia.

Also, hell yes LEGOS! I still have all the crap I got as a kid, and I'll admit, I pick up the odd small set now and then. All star wars, of course. But yeah, I used to pick up some of the bigger sets in Jr High when you could afford to spend 30 bucks for a B-Wing or 50 for Slave I. Now it's 60 for the X-Wing and it goes up 10 bucks everytime they re release it. XP Heck, even the lousy V-Wing has doubled in price since Ep III came out!
