Paint it. Do a leather wrap around the activator (cut a hole for the button or put it between the laces). Add a D-Ring to the Pommel. Get model paints and do some intricate little scroll work or wings or something fancy and elegant around the emitter. Put a different metallic color on the choke. I did some similar things on my Dominix V2 and it turned out great, actually looks pretty detailed all things considered.  |

At least all those yucky blue and red hilts are gone.  The aeon/dominix v2 is probably the easiest to customized they have a lot of shape to work details in like my follow moderator said.  Heres a pic of my old customized grab bag dominix that i no longer own. I just used sandpaper and one o-ring.  |

Looks pretty awesome boss! You happen to have any pictures manroon? I was thinking about a wrap with some tennis or hockey stick grip, I know a poor mans way to do electro-acid etching that I'd like to try, but I've only done it on stainless and carbon steel, so I have no idea how it'd react with aluminum. I'd post the link to the instructions but its on another forum, and I'm not sure if that's against the rules or not.

Boy, this was buried WAY back in my photobucket! lol Here ya go! My BR Dominix V2: Wildhorse (named so because it's actually a tribute saber to my favorite anime character, Ranma Saotome of Ranma 1/2)  Posting links to other forums is okay, just so long as it's not a competitor of Ultra's. IE, make sure the place doesn't sell any lightsaber stuff, and you should be fine. Back to the Dominix, I will say that if you plan to paint a large area such as the spot I painted copper on mine, you have got to sand it first, or it'll flake and peel like crazy. Small areas should be fine though for the most part, depending on the paint you use. |

Still will be sold though I wouldnt be so sour if I didnt already own basically 4 of the same hilt already, of which I have expended all possible customization options between the four of them, other than additional machining and shroud work. So, Im just going to sell it as is, with a standard heavy grade blade and probably include a replacement pack of energizer Li - ions, just so it will sell easier. the only unique things I found with it are: - Polished aluminum LED housing - Collimator lens ( not entirely sure on the viewing angle ) Does make for a very bright blade, and I havent even put fresh batteries in it. I was also half way hoping that it would come with an RGB installed like my Archon came to me when I ordered it as a grab bag (it was also originally guardian blue), but I found that a Blue p4 was installed on this one. |

In order to make them into an even staff I would have to buy an RGB, mix it to AB, install it in the grab bag with a buckpuck and a 7.4v stick pack, Install a green dot AV, drill the whole for the crystal chamber, make the chamber itself, and add a covertec. Just not really worth it to me and it kinda defeats the purpose |

today my grab bag came in and i got an aeon v2 in gurdian blue. i'm not a big fan of guardian blue but i think i may order a coupler for it so i can make it into a staff with my dominix. since my dominix is brilliant red , i think it will be my good/evil or a yin and yang saber.

My grab bag's supposed to be here today, so I'll let you guys know what it is, as for the aeon I got last week, I found some Ito from when I rewrapped one of my katanas, so I'm thinking of trying to wrap it with that.

My grab bag just showed up, and its a dominix v2, so I'd say you're right about that being the new theme. I ordered it in BR, so thats probably why it wasn't an aeon. I wasn't crazy about my aeon when it first arrived, but I love it now! It's such a long saber compared to my initiate, so I'm really happy with the dominix.
