This is the most likely explanation. My Archon V1 had a Lux III and it was more towards the yellow end of green than my Seoul P4 MLS unit. Isn't green an interesting color?  Definitely. I gave away my PVC hilt that had a Lux III green, but I have a Luke V2 hilt which houses a Lux V green and it's definitely a different shade from the P4. Here's a comparison pic:  My Luke ROTJ with the Seoul P4 is on the right, my Luke V2 with the Lux V is on the left. Pretty noticeable difference! |

Alright Saberforums, I've been busy (and lazy) but here are my grab bags that came in a few weeks ago.   Aeon v2, Arctic Blue w/ HG; Dominix v3 Guardian Blue w/ UEHG; Dominix v3 Blazing Red w/ UEHG. The red looks orangish in the lights-off pic due to it being a dim color. It seems to me that the LED itself is dim as I've changed to new batteries twice and it still looks dim especially next to my friend's BR Dark Prophecy. Do any Mods know if that's covered by their warranty? |

Just as a thought, did you try swapping the UEHG for a mid grade or UE mid grade blade just to see? The difference between mid and heavy are astounding, at least in Consular Green. Give the mid vs heavy a shot. |

Hey thanks I didn't know there was such a difference in color from those cause I have a Ultraedge Heavy, is there a significant difference in durability? |

No. The Mid Grades have been known to loose the tip from time to time but we have a member who video taped himself hitting a tree repeatedly with a mid grade. Durability is there with all of them. Just be sure to put tape to secure the time in the event you duel outdoors during dark. Unless you are extremely brutal like Eerock and myself, you will be in good shape with a mid grade blade. |
