Got my grab bag today...an aeon of course, but im happy...i wouldnt have ordered a grab bag if I wouldnt have appreciated an aeon.   I think it may have a slight flaw tell me your thoughts?  the grooves arent yellow so I know its not an LE but they arent bright either sort of dull and yellowish...take a look at the picture below.  that said with my rewards and the 15% sale i used i only paid 47$ and that was with shipping so I paid less for the actuall saber than i did on my kids hasbro one from target for 35$  Now my collection consists of a Gaurdian Blue Overlord with FOC to green and Obsidian installed and An Aeon in Blazing red both blades have heavy ultraegde blades.  i noticed the aeon has a much better feel for dueling than does my overlord....smaller and lighter.

The aeon isn't mhs so it's not as wide as things like the overlord and reaper etc.
I think it was going to be an le then something stopped them from finishing off the anodisation, perhaps a cancelled order or a cosmetic flaw elsewhere on the hilt, hence the not so bright highlights.
But it definitely is a nice lightweight stunt saber.
Still in two minds whether or not to sell my SY one and use the money for an obsidian guardian or something...

Interesting... I've never seen grooves anodized like that before. I think Moebius is right - it's an LE that was never finished. Here's a point for sparking my curiosity.

The aeon le v2 that I have is very similar. The anodization was probably too pale so they went into the grab bag bin. I like it though, gives it a subtlety that the bright ones don't have.

Its too pale for me...i was thinking of painting the grooves black...i dont know what to use though, i want something that will stay on the saber and not rub off.  I thought Testors plastic model paint might do?  Also would really like slits around emitter for Crystal chamber but am highly leary of doing it.  Any customization i would do  need to look factory and professional...not like I took a grinder and cordless drill to it randomly.

Was originally going to just order another blade and some Li-ion batteries during the 15% off weekend but couldn't justify paying shipping for just that so I got myself my second saber and my first grab bag.  It's an Aeon LE V2 in Consular Green.  I actually like the look of the V2 over the V3, but I only wish the pommel was MHS.  Didn't plan on getting sound for it so thats not a big deal.





Looks to be like those above with the "not so yellow" grooves but I like it better than the pics of those with yellow at least.  This to me looks like a true gold color. And the green goes great with the gold i think.

Nice Aeons guys. This makes me want to go for another Grab Bag just for fun. Might go either Arctic Blue or Consular Green. Not sure yet. Though mine will be with a regular Heavy Grade blade.

I ordered 4 grab bags hoping to get some good stuff. Here's what I got:



From the left it's an arctic blue Dominix LE V2, a sunriders destiny Aeon V3, a consular green Aeon, and a consular green Raven with a bellicose pommel and no claws. The raven is especially cool. It has a few knicks but it looks great. I'm gonna get some claws for it in my next order. Maybe swap the MLS out for a red or purple. The raven is very sith-like and may look weird in green after I put the claws on. Maybe it just makes it even cooler though.



Here are the blades. From the left it's HG,HG,UEHG, and UEMG.

I like the UEMG best myself. It's light and gives a great look with no light-in-a-tube effect. I even think it looks good in blazing red. The UEHG is ok if you need a heavy grade blade. But be aware the color will fade a little and the edges will be visible unlike the UEMG. On the normal heavy grade blades the edges are quite noticeable as you can see in the pictures. But these look best when the lights are off and some people prefer them for select colors. (I also have a normal MG blade, which I think looks about as good as the UEHG. Just in another way.)

As for the colors, I love the consular green even if I thought I wouldn't. It's very vibrant and powerful. The sunriders destiny isn't the color for me. Maybe it's because it's not in the movies, but even my girlfriend find it to be a little to special. The arctic blue is better. I'm getting a guardian blue to compare at some point because I think the fuller color might appeal more to me.

I am very happy with my grab bags. Thank you ultrasabers.

First time to post here, I recevied my grab bags I bought during the Super Bowl Sale yesterday.  I am VERY happy with the hilts that I received.  I requested 3 Grab Bags and specified the LEDS to be two in AS and one in BR.  I received a Aeon (AS), a Prophecy CE (BR) and and Archon V2 (AS)!    Pretty Excited as I was not expecting the last two at all, THANKS US!    I added Lee Filters to the two AS hilts and I couldn't be happier with the the results.  I mainly just ordered these for some cheap combat sabers but was pleasantly surprised with what I got.  The only defects I can really see is the hilt near the pommel on the Archon is kinda scuffy and the Prophecy doesnt have the gold screws and one of the side "light holes" is not drilled out.  The Aeon is pretty much perfect and I have found it is a great hilt to wield.

Here are the Sabers right outta the box:


Sabers with the Lee Filters put in, I put Forest Green for CG in the Archon and Special Rose Pink in the Aeon.  Wanted something bright and different in the Aeon.




My new Sabers with the first saber I ever bought the Crimson Reaper (AS) with the Oklahoma Yellow Lee Filter (SY)  It may look a little green in the photo because it is next to the green saber but it is a nice true Sentinel Yellow in person.





Like I said I am really happy with my grab bags and I really love the versatility of using the Lee Filters to get the different colors.  Thanks to everyone who has posted on the forums which Lee Filters work best as that really helped me a lot.   The reason I requested one hilt with a Red Led is you can't really make red with Filters.  The Blazing Red is really blazing as you can see in the pix.

Hope my post was okay and not too many pics, I am brand new to the forums and the community so be nice :-)  If anyone has any tips or advise I would be glad to hear them.
