Gotta admit... I'm pretty disappointed.  I know it's a random thing, but this is my second saber, and they basically sent me the exact same thing, in the exact same color.  I had a dominix 3 in red... now I have an aeon in red.  I was at least thinking that surely I'd get a different blade color... but nope.  Lamesauce.  This is why I shouldn't gamble.

Guess I'll not be doing grabbags anymore.  Maybe I can find someone to give it to for Xmas this year.

Give the grab bag another chance! I got the same saber I originally got when I first found US my first GrBg. But I was more excited than bummed to get the same one! You can bet I'll give it another go sometime!

I got my first grab bag early last year and got a Liberator V2 in Guardian Blue. It rocked. Then a few months later I got another grab bag. Got an Aeon V2 and it was in Guardian Blue. Then, I once won a raffle prize last year. it was a monarch in guess which color. Guardian blue. Yeah, it would be nice to have other colors for those things, but that's ok. What you can do is save a little longer and get a saber in a color you really want and then you'll have three! and don't forget about customizing the hilt. you could weather one so i looks like the "father's" hilt and then the other could be the "son's" hilt as they share a hilt shape. Gotta keep the mind open to the possibilities.

I ordered 2 grab bags back in November 2012 (my 2nd and 3rd ever sabers) and here are the pictures!

The Dominix V2, Adegan Silver, I bought the red heavy blade separately

Ordered 4 more to qualify for the spring raffle but didn't win anything except these beauties (my 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th sabers) :-p

And my absolute faaaaaaaavorite of the grab bag sabers I've gotten...
Collectors Edition Liberator v3, Arctic Blue or Sunrider's Destiny (not sure until I can compare in person with someone in my club) !!!!!!!!! :-D <3  !!!!!!!!!!!!!


Also ordered 2 grab bag blades (paid extra for both to be heavy), one was heavy with film and a round tip, one was heavy with film and a pointed tip. Overall, I'm quite pleased with my all my grab bag items, only wish I could trade away the extra liberator or the standards for something I don't already have... Thinking about modding some of them up to make them more unique if I can't find anyone to trade with.

I'm thinking about getting a coupler and putting together the 2 silver liberators for a MASSIVE staff, has anyone done this? Anyone have pictures of a staff made of liberators?

Very cool sabers.  If I were anywhere near you, I'd consider taking one of the Standard Issues off your hands.  Always kinda liked those.

But i'm not so brave, i asked for Silver blade with color disc.... I don't want a red saber, it's against my religion  Grin

Hi guys, just recently became a proud and happy owner of two UltraSabers courtesy of the Spring Sale! I'm not currently at home right now to post pictures but wow that feeling of first turning them on. Like a kid on Christmas.  Grin

Anyways, I got an Aeon v3 in what I'm 90% sure is Sun Rider's Destiny which is absolutely gorgeous. And a Dark Liberator v3 in Blazing Red. Both of which are just awesome (although I have to admit, I'm partial to the SRD).  Cheesy

I did have a question for you guys if anyone could help. If I decide to get another Grab Bag, what are the chances of me getting the same sabers? While I love them, I wouldn't like to get the same ones again and it seems as though these are frequent grab bag sabers. Thanks for any assistance!

Well, it's random... But the 'sabres do seem to favour the Aeon/Dominix/Standard Issue/Liberator in odds. Some Initiates, too.
