I like that activation box on there also; looks great. Would seem like a logical "option" for US to offer on certain sabers as an upgrade, different activation boxes. Would potentially be a neat way for people to customize from the "factory" and make their saber stand out a little more.
Whaddya think, US?
Oh, and I'm going bonkers waiting on my (1st) order with grab bag; says it will be here on Thursday!

I've been saying that for a while now in the wish list thread. Who knows posably one day is will offer more actavation box options. As it stands now you can order the one used on the graflex or malice its only 15$ but you got to send them an email about it first and then they will give you the Ok to add it to your order just to make sure they have them avaible. I got one from them a while back for my shock le

That's because the blade cracks through the air in a way. Think of a Kendo sword. Kind of similar in a way if you don't have sound in your saber. I'll have to do a video someone.

So, I tried searching the forum first before posting this and didn't find anything at first glance but is there a thread on the board somewhere, where people can trade sabers with one another? There isn't. Based on other forums, I'd guess that it's a mix of competition and US not wanting to be seen as endorsing trade using their forums when they have no control over the trades - that is, no way of ensuring that the seller will deliver, or the buyer pay. |

Got 'em; so stoked! So, to recap briefly, ordered 2 sabers last Friday. Never owned one before and the intent was that these would be for my kids (more on that in a second). So, I ordered:
Aeon LE V3 - VA color - full length ultraedge blade. Impressions - Wow! As everyone on earth has said, this Aeon V3 hilt is just sssooooooo smooth and nice! I love the way this thing feels in your hand. Balances beautifully, feels great swinging it and my hands naturally move into the choke points. I don't see how it can get much better than this for a practice/stunt/dueling saber. It's no frills and utilitarian, but the silver/gold hilt and the purple blade color go well together and still make it look like...an elegant weapon, haha.
One grab bag saber which was: Dominix LE V2 - BR color - no blade (will order short ones next order). Impressions - Cool; this is perfect! This one is for my young son and he loves anything Sith/Dark Side related so i was hoping for a black hilt, or preferably an LE for the nice black/silver contrast. US must have been feeling the vibe when I requested Blazing Red and my son will flip out for it. This Dominix is the V2 version which I wouldn't have bought intentionally, but it's for a little boy who isn't going to upgrade to sound anyway and most importantly, it looks wicked! Of course, it's almost the same length as the V3 and feels comfortable in the hand, although I like the choke points on the V3 a lot. This one doesn't have a blemish or a scratch on it; it's perfect, oh, and it has a red (aluminum) activator button on it which looks really good, considering the blade color.

So, now, what do I do next? I have some decisions to make, because while the Aeon V3 was intended to be for my daughter, during a visit to the US website last night for some browsing, she decided that she wanted a black/silver hilt...in GREEN! Ha! Looks like we may be ordering a companion Dom LE V2 for her in a green color, and maybe my wife will keep this purple Aeon...which leaves me to my saber...
