What kind of battery set up comes in a grab bag? Standard? or is it random?

You can request an upgrade to the rechargeable Li-Ion setup for an additional charge if you don't like the standard setup  But be sure to buy an Li-Ion battery charger along with your Li-Ion-equipped saber, normal chargers don't work with that type of batteries! |

The regular battery setup works just fine. You should get some decent brand name rechargeable NiMH such as Duracell. The LED primary color of the blade with slowly fade or change it's basic shade as the battery power wears down. With the Li-Ion's the color usually holds true until the power cuts out. If you are thinking of a future upgrade to sound or Emerald, then getting the Li-Ion with buck puck installed prior is the most cost effective choice. Generally grab bag stunt sabers are used as is and not ungraded due to the costs. The Sentinel is a good saber choice and is still a fairly new saber. Perhaps you will make a review. |

My sister's grab bag came in! A Dark Prophecy in Violet Amethyst! She's liking it a lot, and we'll get many a fun duel out of this sword! Now if I had a coupler, we could make a staff with MY Dark Prophecy.  And here's me and my friends (and sister) with our sabers! The Flamberge is one I just got, and the Archon was my First Place raffle prize.  |

Man, they must have a TON of dark prophecies if so many people are getting them in grab bags. Not that I'm complaining, it's a beautiful saber, but still, that makes me think my next grab bag will be one, but now we have two in my family. I'm gonna order one for my brother and one for his wife, so it'd be funny if they got dark prophecies too.

I've heard of a few people receiving Monarch. I wish I could be so lucky. That's the saber I want the most, but it's currently out of stock. |

People have gotten premium grab bags before. It's usually during an US promotion, for example - make a purchase of $450 or more and receive a premium grab bag or one made of MHS parts - no V3 or initiates ect. That's likely when the crazy good grab bags come out! But as BladeCross said, they do send out diamonds once in a blue moon  Having said that, think about saving up for one of these US deals to nab one of those beauties. |
