Edit: finished Fantastic hilts and great job customizing them.  My first grab bag - Dominix V3 in GB, it's in mint shape too. That's a beauty of a hilt. I love the solid black look, and the blue buttons are cool. Points to both of you for the shares.  |

Howdy! New here... I just ordered a grab bag for my son for Christmas. Everything random except specified a mid-grade blade. Looking forward to seeing what he gets In the meantime I'm drooling over everyone's pictures, and am now wishing I had ordered one for myself as well!  |

Cool, thanks for letting me know. Yeah, I believe US gives you a blue switch for GB and AB, and a red switch for BR and FO. Everything else gets a silver switch. Unless it has sound, then they're all black.  |

Thanks so much LR. I didn't really have a plan but unlike Drahcir that likes his sabers ruffed up and dirty... I went the let's make this real pretty direction. Wanted to play with textures/patterns and see how the light bounces off. The emitter window I just wanted to see how far I could take it and have it still be useable. Would love to have a red or purple LED shining through. I can say that the aluminum is really thick at the emitter for a small battery pack dremel to carve through. Definitely will have a design plan for the next one. that might work for the females in the forum....don't think too many of the males will be running out to buy or ask to borrow some from someone.
Hey Bear. Nail polish is a great modification/customization secret and works so well for small areas instead of enamel paint. Dries quickly and generally stays on without chipping off. Rev and a few others openly have shared that they use it... even if sparingly... for sabers... I think ?! |
