I'd heard of MLP long before I was a brony and long before bronies even existed (granted, there may have been a few, but there certainly wasn't a term for them let alone a fandom).... the franchise is beyond a household name and is more than likely one of the most successful toy franchises ever. That's why I said she would've heard of MLP, but maybe not FIM (Celestia and Luna didn't exist prior to FIM/G4). |

If you're really determined to discover the truth, go find the original question and post your results. Also, I may as well point out that it doesn't matter whether or not she's heard of MLP or even FIM. I'd heard of MLP since before I can remember but there was no way I could've named any of the ponies until FIM came out. I'd say there's about a 70% chance that it was just a troll, regardless. I don't see any other reason somebody that noobish would bother (or know) to ask that question on the internet. |
