There are two apple-titled episodes scheduled already, so she may actually be getting more attention than before.
After The Crystal Empire parts 1 and 2, the episodes are as follows:

One Bad Apple (AJ or Apple Bloom episode, probably)
Magic Duel (despite the lame name, this is the episode I'm most excited about. Some people are saying it'll be Trixie vs. Twilight, but Twilight already proved that she would curb stomp Trixie so I doubt it.)
Sleepless in Ponyville (many are saying this will be a Luna episode, but I obviously doesn't live in Ponyville

The Crystal Empire - Part 1 (this one we all know by now. Posting it regardless):
Northern Equestria's Crystal Empire has once again made an appearance after being afflicted with a curse that made it vanish for 1,000 years, and Princess Celestia commissions Twilight Sparkle to keep the empire from disappearing again.
The Crystal Empire - Part 2:
After Princess Celestia commissions her to keep Crystal Empire from vanishing again, Twilight Sparkle realizes that she must find the missing Crystal Heart in order to restore the empire's strength and reputation before it disappears again.
Too Many Pinkie Pies:
Overwhelmed with making the difficult decision to choose just one friend to spend time with, Pinkie Pie avoids making the choice by using a magic mirror pond to clone herself. Her plan goes awry when she cannot keep track of all the duplicates.
One Bad Apple:
The Cutie Mark Crusaders are crushed when Apple Bloom’s cousin, Babs Seed, rejects their invitation to become a fellow Crusader and instead becomes a bully determined to make their lives miserable.
