Check again (even reading through this thread will give you many examples of MLP references in Borderlands 2). Fluttershy is actually in the credits.

So I watched Magic Duel and I just have to say: Wow. And also, fave major villains of MLP:

1. Discord
2. Chrysalis
3. Trixie
4. Nightmare Moon
5. Sombra

And I would love to see a fight between Trixie with Alicorn Amulet vs. Luna. Can you imagine the epicness? Grin

It would be awesome, but end quickly. Luna is an actual alicorn - wings and tremendous magical might. Combine that with her physical size (1.5 to 2 times that of a normal pony, depending on her form), somewhere well over 1,000 years of experience (including combat against such legendary beings as Sombra, Discord, and her own sister), and apparent immortality....

Trixie doesn't even seem as powerful as Luna with the amulet.

Splat.

Are you sure? Keep in mind that Luna had been inprisoned  in the moon for 1000 years, it's conceivable that she would be weaker than she was. It's like the Revan vs. Bastila  fight on the star forge, normally Revan could take her easily, but she's been mindwiped, and Bastila is drawing on the Forge to refuel her, which makes that fight harder than it is.
