its a graflex style emitter from tcss, i wish ultra had a graflex emitter with the bunny ears instead, i totally would have bought that to use for the build instead, thankfully everything else is there is ultrasabers, cept for the rubber grip.

Adegan silver, if I can get it to work

I got the soundboard working, but can't get the damn led to light

How much power are you sending to the soundboard/LED?  Also, how are you regulating the current to the LED?

I was using the buck puck. It's no big deal I'll get it figured out. Like you said in the email, I probably blew the led.

Regardless I'm really happy with how the hilt turned out. I blame my not doing any electronics work in the last 10 years for the foul up. I got my soundboard working though lol.

Just a heads up, if you are only using 3.7V, you may not be providing enough power for both the soundboard and the LED depending on how it's been wired.

Or the LED may have been blown  Wink

Well I'm running the 2 trust fires in the standard battery/speaker pack. On a novasound 3.0 dark I got on eBay ridiculously cheap. That andiys got a couple near effects.

One theory is that the board wasn't letting enough power through. It has settings for dirrerent types of LEDs. And let's you change the brightness on 5 different levels.

So I'm going to try that as well. See if I get anything on higher settings.

O you're not running Obsidian.  Then forget everything I said before, I have no idea how that board works, nor what the power requirements are.

Good luck getting it up and running.

Lol it's okay, next one will be obsidian. Pretty sure I just did something dumb and blew the led.

Actually I should say next one with sound will be obsidian lol. Gonnna make some stunts soon out of PVC I think, SRAMs kinda inspired me.

Edit: just played around with it a bit using some alligator clips I made up to test connections. Still nothing. So yeah pretty sure it's a blown led.  I'm not worried, live and learn.
