Hey guys, I was cruising around on Ultra's youtube channel the other day, and I came across this old video:

So let me see if I understand this correctly:  It's the equivalent of a $150 Aeon or SI with sound, instead of having a $200-300 lightsaber with sound?  "Cause wow.  That would be totally awesome.  Why aren't these around anymore, if I may inquire?

these were never released from my understanding since ultra could never find a good cheap supply of MR/Hasbro boards i think the cheapest saber with sound they had offered was an MHS saber that was $200  however ultra my be offering a service where they install the economy boards in their sabers for $75 which is half the amount you would pay for a standard sound install check this thread for details http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=829.0

Essentially, the Master Replicas product we were going to use in these sabers ended production before we could even get started.  It wasn't just the boards that would have been used, but all the internals, like the speaker and battery pack, and the pommel.  That's how we could have gotten the cost down to that level.  But here it is many years later, and we all know what happened to Master Replicas.
