Guardian Blue Raven / Raven Staff / New flush coupler with vents

Gueeess what just arrived in the mail today? My second Raven! Time to have some fun with it!

(Note: Don't mind the Pony photobombing some of the pics )





Side-by-side comparison between my older RGB Raven and the new GB one. As you can see, the lenght of the hilt remais the same, much like the Bellicose. It feels MUCH more comfortable to hold, even though the extra switches never really bothered me that much.



Now my second acquisition, the new Flush Coupler(with vents). It's a fine piece, although I still prefer the old coupler, at least for the Raven staff(gotta try it out with other sabers).





Here's the monster, on its full glory. It's actually lighter than I expected, but damn that thing is big. Even had some trouble to get a decent pic of it.





Here's how it looks with the classic Vented Coupler. Better looking IMO, but the new one is easier to hold.



Here's the new Raven by itself. Guardian Blue looks amazing(no news there), and fits the hilt surprisingly well. I also got some QD's on it, will probably get a DVA MLS unit and maybe a PO one at some point.



Here's something that caught my attention. The pommels(both SS edition) are actually slightly different. The newer one has much wider marks on it, making it look bigger.



All in all, I am VERY pleased with this new acquisition. My dual Ravens shall rock the world with my Grey Jedi costume I'm planning!

Good choice!  And iirc didn't Starkiller dual-wield a pair of sabers in The Force Unleashed?  Isn't that what the Raven is based on?  Would look great to dual wield with a costume as well.

In TFU 1 starkiller used a single lightsaber(based on the Grafflex design), and later on the Ultimate Sith Edition he swapped it for a different saber, this one being the one the Raven is based on.

Only in TFU 2 he starts dual-wielding, and these sabers are what the Bellicose is based on.

Holy cow! The Ultrasabers website rocks for product descriptions and all, but this forum is where it's at to see these sabers in their full glory. Outstanding saberstaff!
