That's one of the ways to do it! Instead of flyers, business cards, website... just get out there in the public eye and fly your geek flag. Keep it up and you may start your own club from all the interested people!

I rarely get to spar with anyone. I handed him a saber and we went at it. My batteries came loose twice in a row unfortunately. Anyone have some good tips? I was thinking tape or rubber bands?
I have AA-powered and AAA-powered Ultrasabers (nothing like the newer Trustfire-powered ones) so I use electrical tape often enough. PITA to replace and gets a little warm, but very secure. I've tried rubber bands but they don't hold up as well as tape and often either break or are too thick for the battery pack to get back in its natural spot.
Also, place some filler material inside (like bubble wrap or something) so that there's padding, so the battery pack doesn't rattle itself to death.
