Loving it so far! Can't say my partner is as enthused, but give it time, she'll be wanting one when I make my next order. Can't wait to start sparring with it!

Very nice, that color and hilt combo is always a good choice.  How do you like it?

I love it! It feels really comfortable in my hands, and while I've not had much time to try properly spinning it or anything, it feels like a great fit for doing so. I'd say the blade is slightly dimmer than ones I've seen in photos though; in most people's photos, their saber blades look a lot closer to the movie sabers (more of a glow to them, whiter core) but that could easily just be the way that sabers photograph (as mine do look better in the photos), or the batteries it came with could be nearly depleted, or maybe I should've got an ultraedge blade. Still, that's easy enough to overlook, so overall I'm really happy with it!

Edit: Oh, and there's a small scratch on the hilt but I should be able to polish it out, and anyway, it's probably quite normal to have a bit of battle damage on a jedi's saber!

Do you have Li-ion setup?  If so, charge the batteries.  If not, throw some new alkalines in there... you'll see a major difference I'm sure Wink  I'm glad to hear you like it though, this design has really grown on me (especially with the choke points).

It's not a Li-ion, but I bought some alkaline batteries in anticipation of receiving my saber. Glad to hear that that'll make the difference!

Yeah, the choke points were one of the main selling points of the Aeon v3 for me. I used to have a Hasbro Luke ROTJ saber when I was younger, and I was always using the choke on that for spinning it. When I later got one of the cheap plastic ones where the blade goes right into the hilt but has no electronics, it felt so weird not having a choke. I think it was a Qui-gon hilt. So I knew when I was looking for my first ultrasaber that it'd have to have a choke. I was tempted to go for the Archon for obvious reasons, and I was also tempted by the Bellicose based on how it looked, but when I saw the price of shipping transatlantic, I thought "better have a look at the cheaper ones then" and saw the Aeon v3, immediately knew that that one was perfect for me, moreso even than the more expensive ones I'd been eyeing up. I may still get a Bellicose at a later point, though, maybe if I win a raffle or something.

I know exactly what you mean man, my converted MR Luke ROTJ was my go-to combat saber for a long time (it's still a favorite).  The choke point is one of my absolute favorite features in a hilt, so naturally I'm a big fan of hilts like this.  I had an Initiate LE V3 for a while (gave it to a buddy for his 30th bday), and the choke points on that were excellent too.

I'm already considering things to tweak with this saber; I want to try out an ultraedge blade, having heard it can be better for an AB saber. But what I really want to try with it is the catalyst pommel. I've now seen a picture of how the Aeon v3 looks with a catalyst pommel, and instantly I went "WANT!". I'm uh...I'm beginning the addiction, aren't I?

Bahahaha I really appreciate that you referred to yourself as "jelly". I say it all the time!

Also I love Arctic Blue. And the Aeon line. Very nice choice.
