Some genius in the Immigration Office got their languages mixed up and 'invited' two Sinhalese at the mandatory civic education course for the Chinese speakers.

I spent 10 hours in the last 2 afternoons translating Italian into both Chinese and English. Today I'm utterly spent, no brain for anything.

Totally understand the feeling.  Been sitting through a meeting that is taking longer than it should where the majority of the stuff doesn't even pertain to what I need.  Oh well, it happens.

So I had a root canal done about 5-6 years ago. Since I am not longer a minor, I have to resort to Obamacare's insurance and that is nothing compared to what I had a child/teen. So I go to the dentist, my first time as this new insurance holding dude. Get everything checked out and x-rayed. They tell me the plan. I tell them about my pain on my certain tooth. They tell me that their has to be no pain there, since the root canal renders the nerve inept. Well, it hurts damn woman. You know when you have a cavity and suck in air and you just know its that tooth. Well, I did that to confirm. What she tells me next is utterly repulsive.
She will send me to a specialist. Specialist charges $100 consultation and $1000 to fix the root canal.

The dentist industry in the US is such a massive fraud. It is unbelievable how far they want to finger your wallet.
I have now the option to either extract yet another tooth or pay that massive bill.
I choose to stick out and take anitbiotics and see what happens next.
This has me on edge.

why do people think that comparing order numbers on sabers they are waiting for is a good idea or any indication on when their order will ship. as no-one has any knowledge of exactly HOW ultrasabers processes their orders all I see happening is a lot of people getting impatient that a saber they have order 2-4 weeks ago hasn't shipped yet even though "so & so" got his order shipped already.

it's not a race. it's not a competition. they will ship once they are ready. what ever happened to waiting patiently? have we become so self-centered that if something doesn't happen immediately we are up in arms about it? GRRRRRR!!!! Angry Angry Angry

order numbers!!! Ultrasabers needs to find a different way to keep track of them or just not issue them to costumers and simply tell them we will get your saber out in 3-4 weeks and leave it at that! with no order numbers there will be no reason to keep track of them! no one could compare them! for the past 22 days this has caused me nothing but pure anxiety to the point i just want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! i was perfectly willing to wait but ever since reading all these dang threads compare order number and im  patiently waiting i have had anxiety so bad i've actually lost sleep over it!

Getting rid of the order numbers would be a logistical nightmare for them.  Better to just remind people that each order is different.

No company that sells a product (especially online) will do away with order numbers. They need them for financial book-keeping purposes and inventory management. People just need to learn to be patient. End of. This is how the world works, you order a popular product, you have to wait for it. End of story. (Unless you invent a time machine and can fast forward in time). That's my last comment on this subject. Just needed to vent (as is the purpose of this thread)

Yeah, I haven't been reading either of those threads because they've become quite annoying. It's basically just become a whine fest, and that keeps worsening as time goes on. I actually think that those threads need to be closed, and there needs to be a specific rule against that type of thing.

Discussing what you ordered and stating how excited you are to receive it is fine. But comparing order numbers, ant the whole "mine hasn't shipped even though I ordered first waaah" thing does not a positive environment create.

Not to mention, you become "that guy."  I'll tell you what, when customers/clients give me grief and complain about things that are beyond my control, I am so much less inclined to help them.   A little patience and gratitude goes a long way.   Instant gratification is an unrealistic expectation.

I say, if it's not contributing to anything positive, then it should be shut down, and it seems to have gone down that road, unfortunately.

Definitely. I even participated at first, because it was still in the right place. Soon after though, it began going downhill fast.

I'm usually the LAST guy to suggest closing threads and enacting more rules, but I think this has gone down that road as well. I expect something similar will happen around the time of Ep. VIII release, so nip her in the bud now I say.
