My 2010 Honda Fit is fairly easy to work on. My 03 Toyota Tundra is really easy to work on and I had a 95 Chevy S-10 too! We had to replace a header gasket and that was a breeze (as much as tearing apart an engine is a breeze)

Honda has always been good at fitting things in small spaces, vs what most other companies do which is cram them in. One of the reasons I always have loved their cars. Also aftermarket support means you can upgrade them easily and cheaply to get a sportier car cheaper and in a less assuming package than buying a factory tuned sports car. I used to love the looks on Mustang, Camaro, BMW, and other mid range sports car owners faces when my buddy's little Civic spanked them on the on ramp. Good times.

Okay seriously what kind of idiot designs a car so that you have to take apart half the front end to change a FUSE.

That would be GM! I have a friend who owns a newer impala and the entire front bumper cover, air dam, grill and head light assembly have to be removed just to change the head light bulb!

we had a neon once, that was another stupid design, in order to change the water pump you had to drop the engine and then take half the engine apart. On the other hand my 1952 M38 CDN is a beauty to work on. A little short on creature comforts mind you. And the 79 mustang I used to have was nice too, had the small block V8 so plenty peppy but masses of open space in the engine compartment.

My dad drove a '67 Dodge Dart until it was held together with baling wire, duck tape, and sheer force of will. It had the 318 with an aftermarket 4-barrel and the four speed manual. It was the easiest thing to work on, you could almost stand in the engine compartment to work on it and we had it so we could balance a hammer head up on the air cleaner and start it without knocking it over. The best part though was the kids in their brand new mustangs and what not that would piss themselves when the little rusty econo-box roared past them like a beast from the land of eternal torment.

Love old vehicles!  And large engine compartments.  I had an 85 K5 Blazer, and I could climb in, sit on the inner wheel well, and work on it.  And I am not a small framed man.

Awesome. Apparently I've really butt-hurt my troll. They've been quiet for a month or so, but events of the last couple of days must have chafed someone's buns because my points have been slipping quickly again. Sad thing is, I think it's a mod.

Well it's most certainly not me, and I honestly can't think of any other mod here who would do such a thing.

You'd think that with your inordinate number of points, whomever it is would consider it futile.

Then part of me actually thinks: "OOO - make the unimportant number above my name slightly different (but it's such a large number, that it makes no difference).  Hurt me!  Whatever will I do?"

-1 Logos.  Hopefully this madness stops.

Are you serious to even consider putting blame on a MODERATOR !!!  We all take our responsibility with due diligence and attempt to be as fair as possible... even when stretched beyond reasonable limits.

Why are you again complaining about losing points.  At some time you were given the mother load and have about 30 thousand more than the rest of us.  This whining has to stop now.  Show some gratitude, respect and consideration towards other members by acting like a mature adult.

For the record let's put it out there as we both know that you were referring to me and no other Moderator.

Holy cow 30,000! Anyways I just came here to vent about how the people that make the most money seem to be the biggest whiners and babys that need constant attention from their managers, this is completely work related btw.  I see sh+# about to hit the fan so I am going to tip toe outta here.  Let me know when the smoke clears.  Love you both by the way Logos and D7!

So...you see a large sign on the Soda machine that says "OUT OF ORDER" Do you:

A.) Curse lightly under your breath and just go buy a bottled drink
or
B.) Pull the sign up and try the ice maker and every soda dispenser before slamming the cup down and finding a supervisor to complain to that the drink machine isn't working.

One of these happened today

My football team have now lost 8 FA Cup semi-finals over the last 25 years, winning none in that time. We've lost catastrophically, lost ridiculously, lost with all guns blazing... Today we lost poorly.

8 in a row, and I think this one hurts the most. The match finished 4 hours ago, and normally i can shrug off a poor result. Today it's sticking with me, and I'm genuinely feeling like this could be the beginning of the end of this group of players who've improved a lot over the last few years... but can't seem to deliver when it counts. They've lost so many crunch games, had so many opportunities to learn from those experiences and just... nada.

It's just a shame all around. I should know better than to let football get to me like this, but there we are. It does, and I'm annoyed.

Sorry to hear that, James.  It's frustrating when your team just can't seem to get it done like you know they have the ability to do.  I'm a big NFL Dallas Cowboys fan, and the last twenty years have been full of let downs after the great years thay had in the early to mid 90's.

The Winnipeg Jets has advanced to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup playoffs !  Usually like Jame's team they eventually sputter and we'd be lucky if they even won a game or two in round one.  Traditionally they like or need to dump the puck down the ice and hope that a Jet player is the first one to chase it down.  Sad

I think that Toronto is out so Jets are the only Canadian team left.  And my fan jersey is in storage in Winnipeg ( vent part ).  Smiley

Did I mention before that I'm usually so over anything to do with hockey.  Wink
