I briefly worked at a place that was sixty-three miles from my house (as the crow flies), but closer to seventy over the road. I hadn't gotten Mini-me (my MG) or BlueBa. . . Bluebell (my pos mazda) and was driving Baby (my travelall, who has since perished) wich was slightly inconsistent when it came to gas mileage but 8-12 was my average, with a 35 gallon tank. That lasted about eight weeks.

Right now I'm driving my father's car, a big ridiculous Buick. Not great on fuel, but a bit better than the car they gave me, a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica(or as I like to call it, Chrysler Gas Guzzler). Not good to begin with, but considering the age, even worse than the factory numbers(I swear most times I get about 8 MPG in that boat). And also it blew a strut and the strut tower poked a hole in the hood...hence the ridiculous Buick.
I'm working on trading my Subaru, which does not run, to a mechanic friend for an Audi that does. A 1997 A4 2.8 Quattro Wagon....a little bit better but still not the most fuel efficient vehicle out there. It does however beat trying to find something half decent(read, runs properly and will get me from A to B in one piece), for the $700 the same friend is willing to give me for the Subaru. He gave "Option A($700) or Option B(the Audi). Like my dad agreed, it's better to have a car that runs, than one that doesn't. I'm sure I could find an older Hyundai, Toyota, or Honda in running condition for that money, but not quickly or easily. Most of what I find in that range either doesn't run at all "runs...technically" but needs twice as much or more in repairs to be an effective daily driver, or is completely on it's last legs "drive this for a month before it finally falls apart on the highway." I figure it's worth it to take the Audi and save myself the headache.
The replacement for the Jeep was a 2007 Ford Focus hatchback, great little car, easy on gas (35+ mpg highway) but it was showing it's age last year... 2nd Alternator failed (1st one was fixed under warranty) and found out it was gonna be roughly $1200 to replace ($150 part, $1000 labor) because step 1 was "Remove engine from car" to get to where they mounted the Alternator. Based on mileage and general condition Kelly Blue Book put the cars value around $1200-$1400... I sold it - non-running - to a mechanic for $600. Bought a lightly used 2004 Buick LeSabre from an older lady for $3000, and manage to get comparable mileage on the highway (30+ mpg) on a car with three times the weight and double the engine (3.8L V6) Of course, my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis sucks in town (18mpg on a good day) but a road trip on the highway, I've been consistently showing 29-30mpg at 75 mph.

Had a 2008 smart for a couple years, loved that car and it got awesome mileage. My wife wanted a truck though for moving crap on the farm so I went the other way and got an f250 I still get better milage than most people in their cars though.

Yeah, there's been a big push for fuel efficiency in larger vehicles due to environmental concerns and, honestly, mainly dropping sales in favor of less gas guzzling vehicles. I have a 2016 GMC Terrain and in the city I average between 16 and 19 mpg. On the highways it usually gets up to 27 mpg with the best I've had being a whopping 40 mpg on the highway (cruise control at optimum speeds).

My grandma now has dementia, not too terrible though but still sad x.x Its why our move was put on hold for a couple days because she only recognized my mom out of everyone so. I feel too though that me and my brother are her comfort people because she still knew me at my moms wedding over the weekend so. I'm just still angry because her, forgive me, but her douche husband kept us in the dark Sunday night so we had no idea what was going on or if he harmed her himself. Or Saturday whenever it was my uncle left back for Colorado because he was still here when that was going on too, too much to really remember. I've been needing a day of some lightsaber bashing but just no one wants anything to do with me up here so x.x To me its always been a good stress reliever other than playing some deathcore riffs on my guitars which I plan to do this weekend too so I'll post some stuff up of that wherever its appropriate to post

I do look forward to checking out your guitar playing. I would imagine from the description you gave of your guitars I would really like you stuff. Probably inspire me to pick up my axe more. I would like to post some of my turntable shenanigans too, but I'm not sure where that would be appropriate either.

If you don't know them already check out August Burns Red, Phinehas, The Devil Wears Prada, few others but can't think of them all. Been wanting to get me a 7 string guitar though, love the deeper tones =] BDADGBE for drop b 7 string tuning or get even crazier and drop the B to an A I just wanna get into the more slamming kind of stuff basically, definitely helps for times like these x.x Turns out she also has altzhiemers so x.x (Probably spelling it wrong but whatever) I'll probably be out most of the day tomorrow when I hit my bed after a year of not having one so. Too stressed out to really do anything but I'll let you guys know how everything goes. I know that'll help after awhile but just really worried about my grandma right now x.x

I have been informed that I need to buy a blazer or sport coat and at least three more ties. In my role as Acting General Manager I am apparently supposed to wear a tie and jacket, something that our previous GM did not do, and they recommend having at least one tie per day of the week as they feel that fewer than seven ties leads to the possibility of wearing the same tie two days in a row. When asked if they would be willing to help me to purchase said items because I did not receive a raise with my brevet promotion their response was to send me a tie with stripes in the companies colours.
Add to that the fact that I have "made" loss prevention agents twice in the past week (we aren't supposed to know who they are) and gotten grilled as to whether I was looking for them specifically, which i was not, they were acting shady (following people around my store watching them closely and loitering about with nothing in their baskets) and I asked if they needed help finding anything a few times. *Side Note: if you are working loss prevention you should be trying not to look suspicious and you are given a company "cover" card that you use to buy a few small items so that you aren't wandering around with an empty basket.
And top it all off with people who can't drive in the rain causing multi-car pile ups on all four possible routes to my store and three separate people almost hitting me because stop signs don't apply to people in Cadillac Escalades, BMW 328is, or Simcas. . . Wait, was that really a simca? What the heck?

Having just been through I similar experience Frizz, wishing you the best of luck and hope they do offer some sort of compensation for your leadership. So I literally got up at 6 am this morning mad about my raffle prize and could not get back to sleep. I know, I know I should just be thankful I won something but man I really, really, really did not expect an initiate tier v4 saber for 2nd place considering I paid $75 in upgrades which ends up being more than what the base hilt is worth. I mean they literally couldn't have gone lower because of the space to install a sound card. I am kicking myself for upgrading as I am pretty sure I would have gotten something better had I not, and that might be the most painful part of all. I can tell by the fact that I am waking up from my sleep mad that this is affecting me to the core of my psyche!

I really think it is just luck of the draw, I paid $50 for upgrades and was shocked (in a good way) by the saber I got. Good thing is you have a V4 sound card and a LED in the color you wanted. Those could all be put in another hilt, and they sell all of them as empty hilts now. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I don't have many EA games, but all of them work fine for me - except Battlefront II. After the recent Han Solo Season Patch I get crashes every 20-30 minutes, mostly during class/hero selection or on the result screen. So annoying, sometimes even Origin crashes after BF does. Was monitoring GPU memory, it's always close to 100% in Fullscreen, highest detail and Full HD res in-game. Menu only has about 70%, and Arcade has about 80% usage.
Don't really know what to do...not fun, when you constantly crash to the desktop after each round! No error message, no error log (Windows or Origin), nothing.
Driver's up to date, Windows has all updates. I really thing they messed up something on the new interface which leads to excessive memory usage. All was fine before that update.
