Hey all, I wanted to share a review of my recently purchased Raven. This is one of 3 sabers I just bought from UltrsSabers.com and I am quite pleased with it.
I wanted a real 'Sithy' feel to this one since my other two are more Jedi oriented and the Raven sure meets my expectations. I opted for the longer claws and the 'SS Edition' or Super Sith Edition pommel. I also opted for the 36" UltraEdge blade which I feel works well for the saber and me. Some go with the longer blade when going with the longer claws but for me the 36" blade works just fine.
The craftsmanship of the hilt is beautiful. The black anodizing with the silver raised grips looks beautiful and feel great in the hand. The claws, even for being so long, are very well fastened to the hilt. Some say they loosen a bit in 'combat' and I can see the threads loosening under battle conditions a bit but some LocTite blue on the threads of the allen screw in each claw would easily fix that IMO. Also, I love the blazing red color, even with the UltraEdge blade. It is quite bright even outdoors unless in direct sunlight on a non cloudy day of course.
The Obsidian sound is superb. I played around with different sounds and had no trouble loading different sound fonts onto it using my PC running Windows 7. I also opted for silver flash on clash and the red/silver combo looks great.
Shipping was ULTRA fast, not just on this Raven but also the two other sabers I purchased in a separate order. By fast I mean it shipped within one business day of my order which I thought was amazing after reading horror stories from people who have purchased sabers from other saber-smiths.
Of the 3 sabers I have now, the Raven is my favorite! From the quality of the build on it to the feel of it in my hand it just works all around. Any questions you may have please feel free to ask me, I'm hoping more Ravens can find their way into other peoples hands. If you're on the edge considering one, go for it, you will not regret it!

And now for some pictures and a video review (my first internet video so go easy on me!
