Always a good choice! I especially like it without the shroud, it make a great hand and a half dueler. For straight up single handed stuff I love my Dark Prophecy. |

ive tried a lot of different hilts, and the most comfortable dueling blade by far right out of the box is the shock
and specifically compared to the following :
Graflex
Guardian
Catalyst
Arbiter
Prophecy
Dominix/Aeon v2
Dominix/Aeon v3
Initiate v2
Initiate v3

How do people feel about the overlord for dueling? My next saber will be either an overlord or a dark arbiter with an overlord emmiter. How do these sabers perform one, two and hand and a half wise?

Considering those are two of Master Nonymous's favorites (you can see them in most of the TPLA vids), I'd say they're good choices! |

 Yeah, It seems Master Nonymous and I have similar tasts in sabers. I like the same hilts and colors. And I watch those TPLA videos all the time I better watch out or he will have me turned to the dark side as his new appretice. LOL |

I'm not allowed to say what my #1 fav hilt is haha because it's a non-US.
But hands down #2 is my Dark Prophecy. It's thin frame is comfortable and the choke points are well placed. And it has a nice subtle pommel for less bulk. I can easily use it for hand & a half.

Both the Overlord and Arbiter are two handed in length. I found an extended pommel really improves the handling of the Overlord. The Dark Arbiter is my favorite hilt. It is very long, extremely light, and nicely balanced. Both can be wielded one handed, but the Overlord is heavier than the Arbiter. Both of these hilts work best with a forward balance (i.e. NOT at the guard but a little bit up the blade) because of the counter weight behind the weapon hand. Both of these hilts are my main dueling hilts (with some personalization). |
