I realize that it's not very practical. I just think it would be a great look, but oh well. I could use a black and silver hilt and just add the gold myself.
Oh hellz yeah. It'd be dope as fcuk. 2-tone is possible, just expensive. There is an other-guy that has such 2-tone hilts, but I'm not sure if they are anodized.

I think I know you're talking about, if so, I'm told that they're painted.  I would love to rock a 2 tone anodized hilt and may do so on my own expense one day just to see it.

Hi All,

There is another "Other Guy" that offers hilts with two tone designs (they recently launched a set of Super Hero themed hilts) These utilised that firearms coating and IIRC each coat was $75 so if you wanted a blue hilt with a yellow Superman "S" on it I think it worked out at $150 just for the coating.

The other technique they use is regular Powder Coating which again isn't much cheaper.

Yes, they're exactly who I'm talking about. Those guys.

I've had some car and motorcycle parts powder coated and they're not cheap but the work is beautiful as long as you find a decent enough coater.

Hi Infinit,
Yes, they're exactly who I'm talking about. Those guys.

I suspected so. Thankfully there is a powder coating specialist near to where I live and I'm gonna go and take a look at what they have and offer. I won't be buying just hopefully going and learning stuff.

No, that other guy powder coats, not anodize. I might have been mistaken about the 2-tone anodize. It might just be single color with a secondary powder coat and a black rubber grip.

Because of the great response I got with the Catalyst, Omen, Lost Gray, Fulcrum, Electrum WInd, Spectre, Dorinian, Archon, Guardian, and Chosen One descriptions, I thought I would try my luck again, and see if any of you wonderful saber fans would be willing to describe the following sabers to this Blind Jedi.
Graflex:

It gives me a better idea of what they look like, and well, makes me want to purchase them even more.
Thanks again.

Putting in my weekly-ish wish for the parts and stuff, but I'd also like to make another small request -

Round Caps - you know:

https://ultrasabers.com/product/round-cap/

These? Between the kids and myself, we're starting to accumulate quite a few blades. We're also starting to set up displays and stands and stuff, which means the blades are going to be coming off.
I would like to see the Round Caps offered in maybe 5 or 6 different colors.
For us, that would make it easy for me and the kids to determine which blades belong to who and especially which blades are cut for thin neck and which are not. (This isn't a problem for me, but the boys tend to not pay as close of attention.)
I've been using tape with markings using a sharpy on the "Round Caps" so far, but it's kind of janky looking.

And -

More love for DIY
1)  Pricing on parts.
Example a cart with 1x buckpuck, 2x batteries, an illuminated AV switch, LED Module (basic, not TRI, no FOC), the battery/speaker holder w/speaker, and an Obsidian v4 sound card comes out to $227.
A Dark Apprentice v4 w/buckpuck (batteries only), illuminated AV switch, and Obsidian v4 soundboard comes out to $235.
That’s only $10 difference and includes a hilt, all wired up and ready to go. And it doesn’t include any discounts.
I would just like to see the pricing on parts be a little more reasonable where doing it yourself can actually save someone some money.
2) That being said –
I’d love to see DIY kits. Board, Buckpuck, Batteries all wired up and using JST connectors or some other quick connect for EZ install and modular use (can be easily removed and installed into any hilt). All served up in a nice neat easy to install and remove little chassis.
Maybe even a complete 4 piece kit, with switch and LED. Choose your switch, LED color and holder type.
Even better, these kits offered for Obsidian v3, v4, AND DIAMOND.
I know all of this can be done DIY, but let’s make it easy. Wink
3) if number 2 could be a reality, offer empty hilts with the switch installed with the wires and connector so that if we had a kit mentioned in (2), we can unbox, plug it together, and get at it.
4) MORE PARTS, MORE PARTS, MORE PARTS - More MHS bodies, pommels, and emitters!
5) Include parts/electronics in sales.

It's one of those things even though you can get different color options, it just lets you know how much customer and financially friendly US really is.

honestly, the only one of the other guys that even gets close to US' prices sells (from what I have heard) real low quality products.

It would be great to see lower prices on parts, more MHS parts, kits, etc.. But US isn't a part company like TCSS, their bread and butter is building and selling complete sabers/hilts. And they stay very busy doing this, so much so that at times they run out of certain parts they need to build certain sabers. So if they just started selling all parts at cheap prices it would make it hard for them to build their own sabers.
