We'll I finally got my saber today, and I gotta say I'm disappointed. The blade plug doesn't fit, its too tall, though its the same size as the plug for my other saber and fits just fine in that one. Also the switch is different from the one i ordered.

Someone on here, I think it was Galef, mentioned that he got wind that US was short on guarded switches, so they were putting in the non-illuminated AV switches - an upgrade - for no extra cost. Is that what happened with you? |

You are literally 1 day behind me (5/17) for our order and the shipping notification was Monday 5/7. So <fingerscrossed> that it will be soon!

Yes that was my assumption because I have received about 5 sabers since March that all had the AV switch upgrade and I didn't order it. But the Crimson Scorpion I recently received did have the Guarded switch, so now I'm not sure |

http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=45651.0i posted some pictures in the review section. really just the saber plug is what frustrated me, shortages of switches makes sense, and that could explain why the battery pack was different too, but i mean, the plug is too big, i don't feel like that should have been overlooked, I can forgive everything else

Right now it seems like anywhere between 4 weeks and 12 weeks with the average probably around 6. Some orders have shipped in a few weeks.

Any idea how long it is taking for sabers?
First tbing I'll mention is that this site is hosted by Ultrasabers, but none of us here are connected with the company. We're just fans of lightsabers and Star Wars in general.. Right now, the company is giving everyone an ESTIMATED lead time of 3-4 weeks to get the orders processed. Some people have been getting their orders within that time, some have gotten theirs sooner - we had one member get his shipping confirmation the day after he ordered - but most people seem to be waiting about 6-8 weeks for theirs. Some are waiting longer than that. My point is, it's a roll of the dice. Orders ARE getting shipped, but the company is getting slammed from all directions; first because of Covid-19 affecting the work force, they're also dealing with shortages of materials, electronics, etc. This is on top of them already getting slammed from a deluge of orders from Rise of Skywalker mania. Theyre not processing orders sequentially, either; whatever they can get out as soon as possible, they ship. Not to discourage you from ordering, just be aware that you might be waiting a while for your order. But you will get it. |

Update as promised:
Got an apology email from Lauren about the delay beyond the 4 week mark and the promise of an update in a couple business days.
I know this wasn't entirely cut/paste because I had asked to upgrade my shipping and she addressed that directly.
Honestly this communication is all I needed to put my mind at ease. Back to twiddling my thumbs with antici.....pation.
