No news yet from Nichole or whoever. Although, to be fair, it hasn't even been a full 24 hours yet. And they're at least a couple of hours behind me as far as time zones go. It's just the anticipation getting the better of me, LOL. Wish I could have gone for the Emerald driver on my Fallen, only because I know that even if I order more sabers in the future - and i do plan to - the Fallen is going to be my Number One. Juicing it up seems appropriate. But the price was too far out of my range, not to mention it wouldn't have been fair for the kids not to do the same for theirs, and that REALLY would have jacked the price up. Ah, well. Don't mind me, folks, just thinking out loud. I'll be happy enough if what I did order comes through 100% perfect.  |

Just got my shipping confirmation for my 5/18 order!
Very excited as this will be my last saber for a while.
As soon as it arrives I plan on doing 3 new videos:
1 to review the saber
1 to showcase my collection

Got a reply from Nichole...no good juju for me, I'm afraid.
The reason my order hasn't shipped yet is because not only is there a delay with the Fallen (rrrrgh, i knew it) but there is a delay with the Savior as well. So I'm getting the double whammy. I can either switch to a crimson or azure model of each, or swap out for a different model that costs the same.
Here's my problem....I'm not a fan of the colored hilts of the Fallen, I want the black version. And for the Savior, I went with the gold highlights because the blade is Violet Amethyst, and purple & gold are my son's high school colors. Plus, I don't think purple would look good with the crimson or azure highlights. Now, if the Dark Savior is available, that would work. Not to mention, I could always swap his out for a different hilt; the Dark Arbitor looks rather nice.
But the Fallen...THE FALLEN! AAARRGH!!
I've got some decisions to make....first I want to know what the estimated time is as of now for them getting back in stock, and I'll go from there. Nothing good is ever easy, is it?
Still.....Nichole did get back to me quickly, I gotta applaud that.

Thats bad news for me too.  Honestly I may just request swapping to the LE version. If it will help ship faster. I dont care for the red or blue. Still bad news for us both. |
