Chimera game

The idea is simple, but the creative process can go much deeper.


You can apply your consciousness and mental faculties to the final end product.

Chimera is a combined creature, the most famous being the Lycia Chimera...composed of the parts of three animals...a lion, a snake and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that ended in a snake's head.

For our consideration let us look at the potential of either human + one aspect...or...animal + two aspects.

An aspect could be a plant, animal, mineral, or element.

The easy aspect is to say human + element.  Superhero right?  lol  The element will be 50:50.  So a human + fire = a fiery person.  Not the human torch...so no flying, shooting fireballs, etc.  Just a fiery person, which is super cool in itself.

cat + a human = catman 50:50

cat + bird + monkey = 33:33:33 of each retractable claws, wings, fur and feathers, partial beak and teeth, tail

cat + metal = metal cat...looks just like a cat but is hardened being organic metal

etc.

So what crazy combo would your consider?

White Tiger + Peregrine Falcon + Fire

Kinda like a Griffin, only leaner and lightly flaming.

Wombat + Platypus + Elephant

It does'nt do anything particularly special?! It just digs REALLY HUGE burrows. But It has a cool name! "Womplataphant" !!

Kangaroo + Otter = Ottaroo: fast and agile on land and in the water, they have incredible sense of touch and memory, easy going but is vicious when provoked.

Appearance: (powerful hind limbs and tail of a kangaroo, with the dexterous forelimbs and cranial features of an otter)

Ooooooh another game!

My chimera would be:
Scorpion + Manta + Crab= Clawed Scorpion Manta

It would be amphibious, have the lanky tail of the scorpion, and the claws of the crab. It would also have the armor of both the scorpion and crab. It would be an arachnid like the scorpion.

I can deal with Deceptae wanting to bethe Girl on Fire a smouldering gryphon, but doubling up on the 50:50 seems a bit of a stretch…

Octopus + Bear + Rainbow

Boneless, hairy beast of the jungle. Hides in fallen trees until its prey wanders by, then jumps out with its great toothy beak, and ensnaring it with powerful suction cups.
Reproduces by diffraction, pushing itself through small holes. Also a defence mechanism (chase the rainbow octo-bear down a hole and all of a sudden there is seven of them, all different colours).

I can deal with Deceptae wanting to bethe Girl on Fire a smouldering gryphon, but doubling up on the 50:50 seems a bit of a stretch…

I didn't want to take the magic cheeto of always being 33.3% immaterial, though if that makes more sense to the challenge then we could go that route.  Works for me!

The body being 1/3 not quite there, phasing in and out, shifting the immaterial aspect...so in game terms he could be potentially hurt by 1/3 of any attack.

Works for me...I just liked the Cheshire cat thought
