Ahhh nice! Woot  It's made the Emerald settings a little confusing haha but i'm sure i'll figure it out later :p From memory, with Emerald for the cross guard sabers, Ch 1 is Red, 2 is Green, 3 is Blue (for the main blade) and channel 4 controls the brightness of the side LED's that are a fixed colour (in yours BR I'm assuming) . . . you can create the flicker in the side blades by adjusting the channel 4 slider in the blade and pulse settings . . . but that's just from my memory, things could be different . . .  |

Just finished unwrapping mine (bit rude as we have guests!) and to go with my Flamberge v2 entry, I won a Guardian in Sunrider's Destiny with silver flash and v4 sound! Amazing prize, thank you Ultrasabers! Pics to follow, probably tomorrow with bonus Guardian staff |

I'm curious because you aren't familiar with Emerald and didn't comment specifically on that which makes me wonder if . . . |

Alright I checked the US site to configure an Emerald Flamberge and as of right now the side LED's can only be one solid color. So depending on how the side LED's are configured with the emerald it could cause the FoC effect, I'm not sure. |

Alright I checked the US site to configure an Emerald Flamberge and as of right now the side LED's can only be one solid color. So depending on how the side LED's are configured with the emerald it could cause the FoC effect, I'm not sure.
From memory, a forum member did a review on an Emerald Flamberge last year and went thru all these details . . . . He got flickering working on his side blades by dropping the brightness on channel 4 (dedicated to the side LED's) on the pulse settings to give the impression of a flicker to a different colour but it was really just a lower brightness on the side LED's . . . This is the same as how you can get a flicker on the switch LED with the switch dedicated to CH.4 . . . I think when I looked at Lev's video the side blades pulse / flickered / FoC to almost "off" while the main blades FoC was white (I think) . . . it would be great if they've got extra channel's to work with, but I think this is how Lev's Flamberge will be set up . . . EDIT . . . the other thing to remember is a 2.Ch Emerald cross guard saber where at least 2 colours are available to the main blade HAS to have at least a third channel for the side LED's (power / brightness) . . . So my guess would be that all the Emerald cross guard sabers would be available in 4.Ch only, technically . . . . . BUT, maybe we ARE seeing some new Emerald functionality . . . would be very cool . . .  |
