but how many new members just sign up to the forums and don't say anything??
either way, hope to see quite a few familiar names on the winner list.
As a person who does a lot of data analysis, I'd say you're getting roughly 10% of new buyers speaking up on forums such as these (at least at first). Now this is very generalized estimates, assuming a great deal more than I'd normally assume, but... Within the last two raffles there were on average 10-15 people posting in the Rules Acknowledgement section per day. These people are likely all new time buyers <--this is my most general assumption. We could all just be so charming that a percentage are coming here just to chat with us. With 10-15 new posts in the rules section on average per day we generally see maybe 1 or 2 posts in any of these other sub-forums from new forum posters. So my guess is roughly 80-90% of new members just sign up on the forums and don't say anything in order to meet the purchase requirements. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just giving you a figure to sort of follow. |

Made a last minute order, Archon v3 with v4 sound and tri-cree guardian blue led.
I got lucky with the last two raffles, so hoping for another win!
Still waiting on my first summer raffle order and third place prize! The order was a backordered Shock LE, can't wait to see the prize!

"Im too nice/bubbly/mishievous to join the dark side" is my usual reply to the lightsaber dueling club i just joined. One of the instructors is gonna have an evil smile on his face when i show up with a Tri-Blazing Red Scorpion. Haha. He said he wants an apprentice... What makes him think he'll survive the assassination attempt? /grin First time entrant here. I wanted to give my nephew a saber that i previously purchased (a Consular Green Aeon) but if I win one of the bigger prizes, ill let him choose the saber. Or probably whatever i win, its his. Ive Held off on giving him his Aeon graduation/Navy congratulations present for this reason. Shhhh dont let him know either way. But Im just so proud of him! If anything, wish him good luck. Heheh. Anyways, good luck to everyone else who entered! |

I held out hope through this whole raffle, I even have stuff in my shopping cart at US that would get an entry, but it just is not to be. We're just in a tight spot until Friday, and even that's only a little bit of slack. Really need the first of the month to arrive.
Such is life, I still need those things in my cart, I just won't get an entry this time.
