ah, the smell of leather. Yup, one of those scents that you never get tired of. Yeah. I had a short lived phase of making really strong coffee. It worked miracles on Friday after barely surviving the week, but on a Monday after being rested over a weekend.....I could see noises and hear flavors. I brew strong coffee, I just try not to over indulge. Unfortunately I’m still weaning myself off the amount of caffeine needed for my “vacation” |

Hell, I drink so much coffee that if I quit cold turkey I'm afraid the cumulative withdrawal would literally kill me.
I endeavor to never form habits that become dependency. IMO, dependency takes enjoyment out of the equation. |

I don't drink coffee because I need it. In fact, coffee doesn't affect me anymore unless it's super strong. I drink it because I like the taste. |

Sounds like you've built a tolerance.  I have learned to appreciate the taste.......with moderate amounts of cream and sugar. I utilize it's effect to take the edge off the mornings, or to warm up. But on mornings I get to sleep in, its services are not needed. Same thing with alcohol. I'll indulge in the occasional drink, but I know my limits, and it's fun to skirt them. But building a tolerance is an expensive form of stupidity. For some reason my sister prides herself on being able to drink me under the table.  That may be sis, but my bar tab is way cheaper. |

you haven't seen sucker punch yet? I saw part of it once, and it looked dreadfully depressing. Same thing happened with Django Unchained. One scene, and I don't think I'll ever get back to wanting to see the whole thing. |

Yes, but the plot is VERY nonlinear. Honestly, most people just couldn't grasp the plot. |

I'm the same way. Coffee doesn't do anything for me. And before Logos says that I have built up an intolerance to it, I haven't. And the reason I know that, is that I don't drink it that often. |

No I perfectly understand different people have different reactions to different chemicals, I was just giving Jev crap cuz it's what we do. The caffeine from a Mt. Dew doesn't do as much for me as from coffee. |
