I love switchblades, man!  That's a wicked looking and sounding switchblade, I would of opened and closed it all day since that's so satisfying. Haha

Gorgeous sword Infinit01!
Smooth action with both your switchblade and stiletto, KS!

Amazing blades everyone  Smiley

Points!

Thank you, Dutch! I'll have to bring more of my Katanas out of storage for a photo shoot one of these days. Have a point back!

Not quite a knife or a sword, but still an effective melee weapon and crutch! I present to you... a warhammer cane.
Still have some finishing work but it's close to done.
Head made from 1095 ball peen hammer as a blank, quenched and tempered, shaft is oak, and a rubber stopper on the bottom with a small chunk of round steel to have a good counterbalance and allow you to shift your grip further down the hande.

Did a bit of resarch a few weeks ago on weaponlaw, unfortunately your blades are illegal in my country.

They look great though.

Oh, I would love to wield that, looks great! What is the weight and dimensions?
To bad you live on the other side of the world, otherwise I'd think of an order someday.

I will get the specifics to you on that once I have everything fit and finished, but for the basics - 24 oz ball peen hammer head converted to this shape, and after grinding/polishing I'd say it's lost somewhere around an ounce on weight(not completely sure, but I forged it very close to it's final shape so I did not need to grind it much)
For the shaft I made this cane specifically for a 5 ft 7 in person, so for you it would be short, because you are quite a bit taller than that.
For the pommel I can give you an exact weight in... 2 days.

Take your time, don't feel rushed by me. I just love the work and craftmanship you do/did and share with us.
And a bit of fantasizing about wielding a weapon like that.  Wink
Thanks

AWESOME knife collection!  And that katana is beautiful!  Do you know what the inscription on the tsuba is?

I don't know what the inscription on the tsuba says. It comes with a lovely red saya, is known as the Shingen katana, and is made by CAS Hanwei. It's a little heavy.
I enjoy the "Gold Lion Katana" by Cold Steel more. It's much lighter. The other katana is the the Golden Oriole katana, has a very long handle in relation to blade to grip ratio, and is also lightening quick. Thanks for noticing.

Been a while since I bought a new knife to add to my collection. Here are the two newest additions I picked up while on vacation. We passed right by the Smokey Mountain Knife works retail location. I hadn't been there in over twenty years.

If you can't tell I got a thing for paracord wrapped knives.

This is my oldest sword i got it 35 yrs ago ( $150.00) and had it professionally sharpened, she is not a direct copy or a traditional design, heavy 30" blade when i hold it i feel it is part of me, those that are truly into such blades will understand this .  but in all these years no other hand but has touched its blade i am very hard on this stand and always remains within my reach.

I still don't know what the tsuba says but have captured a photo of the opposite side. It's in black iron. A warrior in shamanic excess. Enjoy.
